I was told that if you drive through a "Road Closed" sign, it invalidates your insurance because you have contravened a highway order. Like if you weave through a level crossing barrier and get hit by a train, if you survive your insurance won't pay out for any damages.

You need to get up to date with reasonable H&S precautions. Your use of a winch wire when members of the public were within range of a snapped winch wire was atrociously dangerous. We also saw you ignorantly winching a Vauxhall car onto your flatbed with complete disregard for passing motorists safety. Get properly trained on safe use of a winch wire. Buy some cones and use them to protect members of the public from your temper tantrums.

What absolute f'ing clowns people are!! a) the road is closed, by the police, b) they can see there's a car stranded, and c) they can see you're recovering. Yet, they still wanna attempt it, honestly, I can feel my blood simmering, brain cells do not exist. I mean look at the state of the road at the Leasingham, it's across the entire road and a fare distance, wouldn't even attempt it even if I was stupid enough to go through the road closed sign, just not worth the risk, I mean it'd be like a 5 minute detour to go round past the Rugby club and either go through Leasingham or Rusko. "There weren't any cones mate", so stupid to to think that you're driving that way. Where's the patience and consideration today, the VW woman is an embarrassment, and even that other car that "invaded" your working space coz they couldn't wait to park up, can't people wait 5 sodding minutes! I had to go to Northampton that afternoon, was absolutely sheeting it down, but generally roads weren't that bad, I've seen it worse going down there, there was only one bit of road where it was flooded, but it always floods there, and I know it's no more than a couple of centromeres. Got home oblivious to the chaos you dealt with, I didn't realise how bad Sleaford/Rusko area was until my sister sent me a Facebook video of Rusko Beck flooded, then a mate showed me Rusko train station looking like a canal. Amazing how quickly it subsided though, Beck was back to normal levels the next morning.
