Phew - what a video - with amazing clarity and sound on this windy day! I had to hold onto a lamppost in the nearest town to where I live - I abandoned getting half the items my shopping list! The foam looks like a Quatermass Experiment! I have to wonder if the decaying algae might be injurious to dogs. I doubt Muffin would be taken down to the beach. A problem with walking through the foam would be that underneath might be tree branches or broken bottles or anything at all, including a sudden depression. I would be staying on the promenade!
WOW, thank you so much Jane for sharing, everything was so exciting, free exhibition of kite skiing, and as you said the strength they have for holding on thank you again. 💚
The quality of your vlogs continue to improve. It would be interesting to note the change in organic content of the seawater following the longshore drift from the Ribble Northwards. There always seem to be more sea foam at your end of the Fylde. Seeing the West wind reminds me that though the waves come in due West , there is an increase in the Northward . current due to the Coriolis Effect , which is largely why there is deposition on the Southward side of the groynes . And you think you are a nerd !
