TO TURN OFF THE ANNOYING HUMMING NOISE of compressor which cools your water or have a ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER, look at the back of the unit, top right, right above the yellow label there is a hole with + and - sign. Using flat head screwdriver you can adjust temperature of cold water. ( - is cooler water + is warmer water) Turning it all the way to the + WILL TURN OFF THE COMPRESSOR and you will have room temperature water!
On the back of he Storm water cooler what is the valve? It has a white "knob" covering this valve. It that valve a drain? BTW, I have this water cooler and for me, it is fantastic. I have several back/spine conditions and with the traditional water cooler styles I would never be able to lift a 5 gallon bottle to replace the empty bottle. I just roll the new water bottle right to the cooler 😁.
The bottle water adapter tube cap fix very loose, not securely fitted which can and will cause water to spill out when inserting the water bottle into the cooler if you are not very careful 😬
Other coolers allow you to warm up the warm water reservoir from the outside as opposed to having to lift up the door to turn on the water. Another option with this one is to leave the hot water hot, but then the whole cooler is warm on one Half which worries me. I'll be sending this one back. The noise is absolutely atrocious. Plus my wife thinks the machine looks like a giant ant.
Today Aug 27,2014 I had delivered by the drinking water company of this new water cooler Crystal Mountain replacing the older one that I am now renting. The deliverer set it up just like your video. The larger jug from the older cooler was apx. 1/3 full. The water came out of the tap on the new cooler and it tasted good. Later on today about 3 hours after the Set Up I filled up my glass BUT NOW the water tastes like maybe plastic or something like it, BAD TASTE. Could this bad water taste come from this new plastic reservoir water cooler and plastic tubes? If I pour the water from the tap into a small bucket and pour that down the drain then put in a new full jug of water, will the water taste back to normal ie: GOOD? I looked on the back of the this water cooler and guess what, it comes from China.
