Great Presentation. For the manhole sampling, sampling upstream of the weir is not representative of the flow. As you said, solids collect upstream and do not become part of the stormwater flow. The weir should be notched to provide a free flow stream that can be collected without touching the sides. The notch will also provide info as to if it's a typical flow or not. The property doing the discharge should also inspect that sediment so as to better manage discharges from the facility. Always a good idea to get the facility representative to accompany you. He is there everyday. Picture taking is a good idea. OSHA wise, "breaking the plane". And touch on the 10% dupe. Still a great presentation and I'll bet you've made the world a lot better with it.
