Think of CvC right now like Phoenix wars - teching out of argents is rather dangerous given the fact you have to commit money to things that aren't argents. At the highest level, this gives your opponent a timing to end the game. I think this will evolve in time with map design and unit and creep balancing - but for right now, it's really not easy to tech out of that stage of the game
