In this video we unbox the life size Sideshow Stormtrooper Figure!
From the polished armor, to the fierce helmet there is no mistaking the foot-soldiers of the major power in the Galaxy - Imperial Stormtroopers.
Made all the more fearsome by their hidden visage and unflinching dedication to bringing down the Rebellion, Stormtroopers are an ever-present piece of the Star Wars collectible universe and Sideshow is venturing once again to a galaxy far far away. We present to you the Stormtrooper Life-Size Figure.
The latest edition to our Life-size statue line, the Stormtrooper is an idealized version of the iconic characters and armor. Pulling elements from each of the original trilogy, the artists at Sideshow have created what we consider to be one of the most perfectly blended representations available.
Standing at 6’5” tall and built of fiberglass, resin, high-quality plastic, metal, and fabric, it should be noted that this is a statue piece and is therefore not suitable as costuming armor. The ultimate centerpiece to any collection dedicated to the soldiers who enforce the ultimate power in the Galaxy - the Stormtrooper Life-Size Figure.

That's a lot of Velcro before the armor even gets placed! Do they think his shirt will fall off? 🤣 Also, would it not have been simple enough to denote right and left pieces on the inside of the armor? No one would see them once assembled. No, let's be cryptic and have subtle clues to look for....

I have a Stormtrooper life size helmet and the problem is the white plastic if you expose to sunlight will yellow. So if you own this it better be in a basement man cave otherwise it will degrade with time.

Real storm trooper would have to wake very early and still need a person to help to put on the armor forget about going to the bathroom- maybe they have a catheter that hooks up to the barrel in the back.

That's mad, you can buy armour from Shepperton studios the people who actually made the originals that's designed to wear for a fraction of that price (it's still expensive) and a mannequin ain't that much. 🙂

@@niccyjackson Yeah, I bought a TK armor kit for $600, built it in about 50 hours, and then got a mannequin off ebay for $60. Total spent = about $900 plus my time. Granted, it takes a good amount of skill to build a TK costume that is 501st approved quality. But mine looks identical to this standing in the corner of my office, for 1/9th the cost. And I wear it for a costume to events.
