The Allman Brothers rhythm guitar I and IV chords are triads using the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings (BGD).... The I (G) chord is F,A,D on 3rd fret (the A is actually 2nd fret). Slide that shape up to 5th fret and back down. IV (C) chord is same chord shape on 8th and 10th frets... The second time around on the I chord is still the same thing, except after you play it, you add that G # part by sliding from 3rd to the 4th and 6th frets and back down.

Try a Ab major 9th as a substitution on the Eb7/D7, And play the D7 right before it as an A min 7 instead, That's how the Allman Bros did it. Thanks for the great track!!

Question néanmoins Sébastien : où est-il judicieux de jouer diminué pour enrichir l'idiome, casser la monotonie standard, même une mesure ou deux seulement ? Tu vas me répondre partout bien sûr, sous-entendu "à condition d'être génial", mais sérieusement, où est-ce rigoureux d'un point de vue théorique ? Encore merci !

Pour ton solo, dommage que ton ampli n'ait pas été un peu plus à la limite de la saturation, quand tu attaques plus fortement certaines notes ça aurait saturé très légèrement, c'est très bluesy quoi....Enfin bon je dis ça mais c'est juste une remarque constructive, je suis bien incapable de jouer comme ça ;-)

Instead of Stormy Monday create some lyrics and call it Stormy Daniels and her Trump Card. Well Stormy was Gambler...And she wanted a big pot.....She had a Trump card...That she knew could bring her a lot......Being sly and eager to win....she decided to go all in.... Yeah Stormy was a Gambler....a gal with guts to spare.....And she played her kind of game without a care....the bigger the name....the more the fame.....
