Hi Carissa and Iwan, beautiful video. I love the fotos of the sky and the music. Thankyou. . The animals are so cute, sleep together, cat and dog. I love everything on your farm. The olive trees are full of olives. You two amazing together. I pray you get lots of orders for your coffee. Greetings from Namibia. ❤❤
Quite extraordinary happiness/comfort/friendliness/love with each other! Lots of people have dogs and cats that tolerate each other, or - better still - get on reasonably well, even very well, but Carissa & Iwan's animals seem to have a far deeper affection
I loved that you made a thing of the weather. It sinks in more to how much you you rely on the drier wether to be able to get things done. Love the videography, the land looks so different in the rain. Keep up the great work you are both doing.
Carissa when I see the side of your new cabin I see a huge canvas for you to paint a mural on and use for a backdrop for your deck and future podcasts! Love your shadow Diego! Unconditional love from him.
just plant more cabbages so that its enough for you and the butterfly larves so that you can enjoy the butterflies and not feel guilty of getting rid of them. I enjoy seeing your cats and dogs.and the things you do on your property. Best of luck.
I love watching your animals. When they are all curled up together is so sweet. I love Frankie, he is so cute and Diogo - always on watch and so bouncy. You are so clever - building your new cabin. It's going to be great. Your deck will be a great place to sit and relax with your teas and coffee!
Your photographic skills are outstanding, as well as the exquisite and peaceful music 👍🥰👍 Diogo is most certainly a very special pet. All pets cuddled up look adorable!! ❤ Nice job with the pallets! ✌️😊✌️🌟
Good morning, Carissa and Iwan. I love the shots of your property and the skies. It looks like it will soon be olive harvest time. The deck is looking good. Seeing your pets snuggled together is heart warming❤️
Yes, it is not always easy, but you and Iwan have come such a long way since I first was introduced to your special place by Ken from OK Portugal and week by week we watch you making progress, however little, and it makes your viewers so happy to see it all. It is obvious your animals feel they have the best life , and they have, bless them. The coffee idea sounds fabulous☕️❤❤
Absolutely Epic video. Your photography is brilliant and so is your choice of background music. You are a talented creator and have an eye for beauty. Greetings from Brazil ❤
Greetings fog's from the UK. I love a Saturday morning watching your videos I feel like I've been transported to Portugal and living the good life. You have a lovely property and your furry friend are a blessing to watch looking forward to next week❤
I enjoy watching you guys interact as much as anything else. It's very calming to me. I have never had a calming relationship. Thanks for a positive view on a real life relationship. Also, I love your animals. They are proof that you're living the happy way.
Thundery rain is the best you can get for a garden. The olives look great, you may have a few to many to eat😂a local will take your surplus and pay you,not a lot but it all helps❤
I think you are absolutely the best utube channel. I love your videoography, gardening and choice of music! I Always look forward to your weekly videos!
Loved your rain scapes. So similar to India. Sleeping cats & dogs, all cuddled up together was a lovely vision of love & warmth. Just love the way Diego supervises you two. He reminds me so much of my Pippin who departed leaving me devastated. Thank you.
Ohh what stunning video guys!! The sweet eyes of Frankie and the other fur babies, just melted my heart. How beautiful the land after a few buckets of rain.
Another breath of fresh air, just look forward to your video. Always beautifully shot, always great music, always relaxing. Love the way during your projects all the animals turn up to inspect what’s going on at some point during the task. Diego certainly likes to share all your tasks, such a nosey dog, he does like to keep tabs on where everyone is and exactly what they’re doing! ❤
The animals and I agree, if it's raining...it's time for a nap! Continuous rain might mean breaking up the naps with some intense cleaning. This is when I finally get to the floorboards and windows. I've even been know to wash walls. Luckily, Colorado doesn't often get that much rain! OMG! You have green grass! Summer must really be over for you. No more dead brown grass. When do you start harvesting olives? End of October? Wouldn't it be fun to have a clay chimenea on your new deck? Even a steel one in black would be cool. Just sit in your deck chair, drinking a cup or tea, and watching the fire. Very relaxing! Next time you're in town, buy a few yards of cheap tulle. Seal your cabbages etc in the tulle so the caterpillars can't get to the plants. It's good for keeping all sorts of bugs off. It keeps the plants from burning in the sun too.
Carrisa what fantastic filming of the rain & great musical accompaniment this is a fabulous vlog Thank you both Love to fur & feather babies look forward to coffee blend 💜💙🐕🐈⬛🐓💧💧💧💧💧💧
To save your brassicas made a tunnel using close woven polypropylene mesh and plastic water pipe as support hoops. In the UK it's called Wondermesh. I imagine you will be able to source something similar over there Also good if you're bothered by carrot fly.
Love your videos. The rain is amazing. I think you have gotten more rain in just a few days than we get in a whole year here (9 inches). Yes living off grid is being able to adjust to nature all the time. I love you have been able to meet all the challenges so far with creative adjustments.
Ever heard that song “ Busy doing nothing working the whole through , trying to find lots of things not to do “ 😂 Your Welsh 🏴 rain don’t STOP PLAY EVER 👌🏻
You were right! Horta means vegetal e garden! Congratulations to you both! Great couple! Hard workers! Keep up with the good work! Enjoy this country! Be happy!
Clarissa I have exactly the same problem ? I sowed 6 kids and never remember their names 😂, but luckily they all answer to “ Oi “ or Taffy 1, 2 or 3 etc , so much easier than thinking of individual names
Thank you ever so much for this weeks video. Just what I needed to get on with a great day! You two are amazing, I feel so blessed to be able to transport myself to Portugal in my mind to your beautiful land and fur babies and off grid land ❤❤❤❤ I love your new design for coffee. I don’t drink coffee, but would love the tea. And lastly Carissa, I loved your smile and laughter at the end of the video😊. Have a wonderful week!
Great what you two can do with pellets and your deck will be a good place to sit and watch the world go by with your animals. Good luck with your running🏃😀
I always look forward to your weekly update, the garden looks lush, how are the chucks? Haven't seen much of them lately, hope the mite problem is history. Have a great week.
Very beautiful love hearing the sound of the rain and seeing the olive trees. Perhaps a back up gas/petrol generator especially for cloudy winter days.❤
How beautiful! Such stunning scenery❤ A great time to be able to rest and recuperate and take it all in😊 The land much needed it after the long hot summer!
Beautiful rain with my Java this morning, thanks😁👍. What in the rainin cats&dogs Sleep Safari goin on there, Lol, that was funny. The patio looks so inviting on cold sunny winter days, its gonna be nice, with a New View💙. A little suggestion , based on my experience. When you build the Solar cover.... Extend it passed the length of the Cabin. to accomodate 2 more panels. Stack as much as you can . Yur New Battery system is Jumbo👍 i would def go heavy on Xtra Solar panels. Happy Autumn everyone, the New Coffee sounds Yummm. It was 28F in Idaho last nite❄️❄️🥶 Be blessed🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this week’s video. It is so relaxing to see all the pictures of the animals and nature. You guys inspired me with your olive trees and I actually planted three olive trees in large containers. I live in New Mexico so I’ve had to baby them and I actually got eight olives this year😂
Como e ai o cheiro da chuva nas plantas e na terra molhada, deve ser magnifico. Fazem bem admirar a natureza num dia de chuva e muito repousante para a nossa cabeca.
I put nets over the brassicas..made some hoops from rebarr poles with irrigation tube fitted on to drape net over to keep the cabbage whites off.Over here in South Spain we got 5 inches of rain which was a great relief, and have been planting out seedlings in rotted down horse poop courtesy of my two.Oh yes, loadsa broad beans and peas went in today too..Time to dig out henhouse soon,to get the compost cooking! Beautiful takes of the stormy skies! ❤You cd fit an equine in that big field.....no more strimming and compost on tap!
If you look at the porch in relation to the level of the base of the house, the porch slants downwards. You can see below the base of the cabin floor. It is on the right side of my screen if that helps. You can see this at the 17 to 20 minute mark. Must add that I love this video. The video during the rain was beautiful.
