Stormy Seasons: Trusting God In the Midst Of the Storms of Life 

If you don't preach another word ever again this will STAND. This was a necessary, timeless, and all encompassing WORD. This was everything.

I was literally saying to myself this morning, "God why won't you help me? I keep coming to you but you won't help me!". I'm glad I clicked on this because it reminded me that there's a test I'm not passing. Who wants to keep going around the same mountain over and over and over again? Let's pass these tests!

Everything that you are talking about I understand. We are tested to strengthen our Faith and Trust. Now I praise God through it all. I continue to look at everything through Faith. God is an awesome God. Terminated from work and my brought me the job where I can make a difference. Faith is the Key. Writing a book to show the difference between our image vs God's Image.

I've known of Heather for a few years now but I've never cared to watch any of her sermons. Today this popped up on my feed and I decided to watch, and I swear it came at just the right time. This message is so accurate for the time i'm in in my life. I know ill have to watch this 500 times...

It was like you were speaking directly to me, this was so on time! Thank you for sharing your testimony, it's so encouraging hearing what you went through and seeing how God is using you now! God has recently shown me my calling, and it's mind blowing, but I had no idea how hard these tests were going to be. There really is a cost in following Jesus, you have to die to your dreams, plans, ultimately yourself. But he has shown me that his plans are so much bigger than ours, and he's the greatest reward.

"The weaknesses of other people reveal what's in your heart. " Uh so true!

I really needed this message today! I felt the holy spirit throughout this message. I just sat in my car and watched and cried. The Lord had me relocate to Georgia. Told me I would not prosper if I stayed in my hometown. This was a some years ago. As I was preparing to move from my hometown, I began to follow you on social media for a couple of years among other leaders and churches. In preparation for my move I visited the city. While here, it was placed in my heart to visit only your church and I had an awesome time in the Lord that Sunday this past Summer. So I subscribed to your this channel and began to watch your videos. You always let the Lord use you! You are so real with it and it's awesome! I moved down here in December and have been in a storm every since! I asked the Lord today after hearing some disappointing news...Lord why am I here? I left everything I know, everything I'm used to, my family and my friends to come here to this foreign place because I trust you! A few hours later, I got a notification for this video! I know I have a purpose and the Lord keeps whispering in my ear it's more than I can imagine. I believe it and receive it! I wasn't like woe is me earlier when I got yet another blow but I did shed a few tears then snapped out of it and continued on with my day. I needed this confirmation. The storms are just a part of the process and adding to my testimony! Thank you for letting the Lord continue to use you for his kingdom! Many blessings!!

thank you Jesus for leading me here. it felt like you was Talking to me. the storms that my husband and i have faced is almost unbearable. back to back storms. tears in our eyes day in and day out. this is exactly what my heart and spirit needed. its like the harder i search for God, just to hear his voice we get kicked off by another storm. it got to the point where i even stopped praying. i was weak and it seemed as if the Lord closed his ears on us. from losing jobs, losing cars, losing parents, even down to our house and everything in it. family cursing us friends laughing. All of this within a three year time frame. oh yea, cant forget the fact that i was pregnant and almost lost my life while on the surgery table. i have played this video twice already back to back just in case i missed something. Heather thank you for sharing your path with us. this really felt personal to me. maybe because my first name is Heather too!!!!!! lol

Heather, I've been watching your RU-vid videos for a few weeks now daily and I just want to say Thank you so much for your courage, your boldness, and your sense of humour! You are so easy to relate to as a woman and are real and authentic and I just praise God for using you! As I was watching this video I received a job offer after struggling for so long! It came up as a notification at the top of my iPad where my Psychology Professor received an email asking if she knew anyone who would be interested in working with a prestigious Child Development Institute and my Professor sent it specifically to me and said I will write the reference letter FOR YOU! I didn't even have to go out and seek it. God brought this job to me... He is AMAZING!!!!!
