This month we needed to dig into the first games we remember playing. I remember my first console was a SEGA Master System which I got for Christmas. For my birthday a few months later my aunt bought me my first game, Lord of the Sword.Hearing the soundtrack again flooded my memories of this game. I could never get far in the game as a kid, but I adored the setting and vibe of the game. The floating eye enemies scared the shit out of 5 year old me.I searched and searched online to find the composer for this game and couldn't find anything myself which is a real shame too.Anyway, we chose the theme that plays during dialogue scenes in towns(Called Story wherever I look for it) because it was a really nice sounding and simple track. I thought it would be a nice challenge to try something with no distorted guitars for once haha. After realising this was going to be a clean guitar track, I instantly knew I wanted some violin playing the lead and was happy that Shea was free. I asked them for some improv in the second half and what I got back was much more beautiful than I expected.
