Everybody misses parents after 10-15 years all of sudden and want to return to India as if they are going to do ‘seva’ etc . What a load of BS all these return stories are on this channel.

Every developed nation gives us an opportunity to be self reliant for house hold chores. Stating that India provides domestic help only shows that we have not moved from colonial mindset.
@IshaYogi50
@IshaYogi50 Месяц назад
That is not true. Most developed nations provide dignity of labor. There is no shame in being a janitor or waiter in abroad. This is considered as low grade or devalued work in this country. If you look at it as an employment, you wouldn't say this. I live in USA and have a lady who cleans my bathrooms and I pay what she asked. I respect her equally as I get at my office as a Software Developer. It's a transaction/employment not bonded labor. If india needs anything consciousness and perception change.

@IshaYogi50 how often do you get the cleaning lady at your home, daily?
@SUJAMUK
@SUJAMUK Месяц назад
How absurd it is to say that having a home help is like having colonial mindset. Just imagine the days when you will not be able to cope with the household chores. Having a cleaner means you are giving employment to someone. I had a cleaner 2/3 hours a week while living in London, as you don't need to clean the house everyday, like in India. I came back to india after 4 decades. It takes time to get used to the life in India. Since my husband passed away, l live on my own. But to be honest, l couldn't live with anybody as we never had children, it was always two of us having a quiet life.

+1… hope we soon move away from this classism. Mohak Mangal has mentioned in one of his videos that the reason Indians lack civic sense is that they are not used to doing their own chores at home. They think there is someone always there to clean up after them, be it at home or outside. I have a cleaning lady in the US who comes once in two weeks for “deep cleaning”. And we pay her a fair market value for her services.

Strange! Attending one marriage changes a decision? This could have been known before moving to USA. Parents missing should also be known prior!!

Wishing you all the best. I recently moved from US to Asia for few years. Prior I moved to India for few years, I can tell you , you'll have family support convenience of maid/driver/taxis-uber/ola/ delivery of groceries- big basket/ Amazon/ pharmacy delivery meds/ laundry etc..good clean grocery shops/ grocery vendors/street food n lots of Indian food/ snacks. You'll have to embrace the challenges- traffic jams/ unclean roads/ trash on roads/ people not standing in lines properly/ crowded roads. It's part of leaving in India. Thinking about the positive side n your long term goals. Atleast you don't need to be worried about shootings-gun violence 😮 you can shop in mall/ go to good restaurants. All the best.

Why are you scared to move back to India? Were you scared when you moved to a foreign country? It takes time to get used to the life in India. Just don't expect India to be like USA and don't worry about the things that don't matter to you. If you have enough money, you will have a good life.

Can you interview people who move from Singapore or Dubai to India? It seems all NRIs are from US, UK or Australia :)

Not sure many move back from Singapore and Dubai, leaving aside some exceptions 1 - these two locations offer a lot that you find in india 2 - india is near and you can go to india almost the same day
