Since the name Hawa is not specifically in the Quran ,Where was the name Hawa first used in writing . Was it in Torah or hadith ? Or both ? Jazak Allah Khairun. an Arabic speaking Muslim close to me is not sure either and told me he did not know and had not known it to be part of hadeeth. Allah Forgive me for any wrong in this query .

@@rebeccah5682 It is mentioned first in Torah and also in Hadith. Depending on the context it can mean many things. Desire, passion, life, something that pleases you, love. May Allah forgive me if I’m not being accurate.
