The Love Events in this game are freakin' great. And now that I think about it... Maybe the reason I hated rival marriages is because the rival events (especially in Animal Parade) were far more superior than the heart events of your MC. But with Love Events this good, I don't mind if they bring rival marriages again (so long as they don't overshadow the Love Events again or keep it romantically levelled as these heart events themselves)
Not sure about Animal Parade but I remember people hating the rival marriages in DS since they were pretty much unhappy ones. Especially Lumina and Rock, to the point that people would marry Lumina just so Rock wouldn't.
The way the characters touch each other, show emotions, and the hearts events are so real like... this is way better than story of seasons pioneers of olive town.

Makes ya kinda wonder how Ford and your character's first time went, huh? Lolol, I mean after all you have the option of having a child with whomever you marry, so you and Ford must've... *ahem* at some point. XD
Ford is the best bachelor in Trio of Towns, hands down. This event just proves it, lolol. I swear the developers forgot they were making a farming sim with Ford's orange flower love event and started making a dating sim instead haha! Not that I mind, of course... Also, I swear, I romanced Ford the first time I played and plan on making a new file just to try romancing someone else, but re-watching this love event makes me want to romance him all over again! XD
This background music is really Skye's from Harvest Moon DS Cute. He's all I can remember everytime I hear it. Legendary bachelor, would scream if he appears on future SoS games
I haven't played this game in a while, but I had chosen Wayne the first time. . . . Now I want to play it again and start the second save file so I can go out with Ford.
