I think FuHeng is the YingLuo 's truly love.He devoted himself for protect a woman who he love.The last episode I cried when saw FuHeng said goodbye to her and YingLuo promised him will find in next life.

Some details that show how Yingluo feel about Fuheng: - She cried only once before for the Empress, and once again upon hearing of Fuheng's death. - She gave Fuheng a scent bag with 2 dragonflies on it but there was only 1 grasshopper in the painting she painted with the Emperor. Although she grew to care for the Emperor, Fuheng is always her purest memory of love. Apart from family love for her sister and the late Empress, the romantic love that was once shared with Fuheng is also extremely important to her and has never been replaced ever since.

Fuheng is the only person who truly understands Yinglou.. Thus he loved, supported and protected her all through his life.. As for Yinglou she knows in her heart whom she loves but she also knows whom she belongs.. Fuhengs character is my favorite.. He just loves, understands and did everything for her protection.. But his character is superficial yet at least in drama there still exist such as his..

Finally I finished the series.. I believe it is Fu Heng she loves till the end, and Fu Heng knows it. They both understand that her priority is to exact her revenge, and they promise to be together in the next life :'( So bittersweet... I know cuz at that time concubine Chenbi asked her who she actually loves, she says nothing

I have finished the drama & all I wanna say that I am all for Fuheng and Yingluo

The way Fuheng did so much for Yingluo and she still had to choose the emperor is making me cry. He is such an amazing person

The emperor always kept testing Yingluo while Fuheng was always upfront about his love for her. She didn’t have to prove her love to him. He never criticized her background he just wanted her. He just knew he wouldn’t be able to protect her from all the jealousy & the confusing abusive attention from the emperor. He always said he just needed to be sure she was safe at all times no matter what no matter if they could not be together. He just wanted her to stay alive alas at the very end he made that happened. I believe it would devastate him beyond grief if he came back from battle and she was no longer there. Such a great show with a great story line.

God, it's always the second lead that I'm falling for😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 ugghhhhhhhhhhhh I wished they got together!

what to do? even though I've shipped her with the emperor, my heart remains with fuheng T_T yingluo and fuheng's story is probably one of the saddest I've ever watched. She only married the emperor to survive in the palace but at the end we can all see who Yingluo truly love. That expression when he learned that Fuheng sacrificed his life for her. Dang this Drama is so good. I freaking hate the Emperor. He destroyed it all.

So I finally completed this series after boycotting the show after watching episode 48. I realized during episode 48 Wei was probably going to start falling for the emperor and I was not here for that. After a day of boycotting I moved on to Legend of Fuyao, but I could not get Yangluo and Fuheng out of my head. I felt cheated, angry, and miserable because I knew that they were not going to have the ending I wanted for them. After my day of boycotting I felt like I needed closure so I decided to just finish the show and I must say that I am happy that I did. I finally got closure and was able to accept their ending, in knowing the fact that Wei and Fuheng had true love! I don't think she and the emperor would never have what she and Fuca had. I don't think the Emperor will never understand true love or their love for that matter. In the first few episodes of the Legend of Fuyao the female lead was asked to become a concubine by the man she loved, because he was being forced into a marriage and she was of low status. As a response, she told him no thanks and that "real love is never shared". This quote hit me hard because I instantly thought about the relationship between Wei, the emperor, and Fuheng. Fuheng was never willing to share his love with anyone else but my girl Wei. Everyone's beloved emperor on the other hand was too greedy and only went after Wei because she was something new for him. His ego is what made him attracted to her not the fact that he truly loved her. I feel like I am just rambling now, but the moral of this message is that they did my boy Fuca wrong but I have accepted this sad ending. We all know now that if she was not bound by the the stupid emperor she would have been with Fuca. And please let's not forget who actually cockblocked their marriage to begin with. But I digress before I get angry all over agian.🙄 🗣Wei and Fuca forever!!!!

I believe that Yinglou's first love is Fuheng. But in reality, she knows very well that she can never ends up with him. How can you fight against the Emperor? The most powerful man on "earth" (China). One order from to have you dead or killed is like a piece of cake. She loves Fuheng & the last thing she wants is to see is to get Fuheng hurt. It's like trying to swim upstream of the river. That part where Fuheng's last words to her before he died, can she be the person to guard her instead of him in the next life...got me into tears without fail (even I re-watched that scene again & again). So touching. The actors & actresses did such a great performance, until you can feel it. So did the casting, costume, lighting, cameramen, director, etc. I love the OST & the sound tracks. Really good.

This was one of the best series I've seen in a long time. Cried like a freakin baby. That ending between their love was sad but perfect 😭😭😭

I started following xu kai dramas because of the legends and arsenal military academy. Im being hesitant to watch yanxi palace because of the hairstyle but after finishing it, it is number 1 in my list,loving it too much just having heartache because of fuheng😭

The last few episodes made me cried like a baby...My heart still ships Yingluo and Fuheng's even till the end...I truly believed she deeply loved him to the very end. As for her love for the emperor, it was more of loving him out of duty as a wife and to survive in the palace. I just watched the sequel made by Cattree's of Yingluo and Fuheng's and my heart exploded...SPOILERRRRR SPOILLLERRRRR THEY KISSED, NOT ONCE, BUT 2 KISSES OMGAH! 😭 💖

Every i hear this drama ost i always cried when i recalled how much hardship they go through together , even after each of them marry anyone else they still loved each other and support each other . They also choose to be like this 😢😢😢😢 however my heart ached for Fuheng he just bear the pain in his heart to see Yingluo achieved what she want and even after many years he still loves Yingluo and even gave up his life for her .I think Yingluo did love the emperor in the end but she still has place for Fuheng in her heart

It is just so sad. I cant even explain why it is sad, is it because they could not live together or is it because he and she could not talk to each other openly and know each other's sincereness. But the show has shown that the two already knew each other's words without speaking. But i still feel sorry for them. Hope they have lived together in their next life. Love Fuheng and Yingluo. T.T

I truly believe we have a "Twin Flame" and we also have "Soulmates" what I saw in this story was an intersection of both, not every lifetime with your Twin Flame is a long one nor does it always end up a romantic one, some Twin flame love can be so pure it cannot survive on the earth plain, it has happened many times in our history of such great loves not being able to last a whole lifetime. I truly believe she loved both men for different reasons. Fuheng was her first love and I believe her Twin flame, but I think the Emperor was her soulmate, in this life. Many have said that the Emperor didn't understand her, I don't think that is true, she confessed everything to him and he still accepted her as she was. Her struggle to survive and to avenge the ones she loved was always her driving force, once that was done, she strove to make her relationship with the Emperor unbreakable by anyone. I think the Emperors real struggle was in realizing he could love another and still be Emperor. His upbringing and training was to rule the empire and create an heirs, but he was never taught to love till he met Wei Ying Lou. We saw his battle with his emotions through his actions, he even had to acknowledge this when confronted by Fuheng, who forced him to acknowledge his true feelings for her. I believe everyone within those walls was trapped by the duties they were taught to do, including the Emperor.

Im a filipino ,and I've watched this beautiful Chinese drama , I admired the director the whole film was impressive the story center on universal theme which is love , with power Dynamics among ancient Chinese lives , where deception , manipulation and scheming wrath the courtiers

Fuheng is the greatest character ever written in a Chinese drama for me. Xu Kai acted his character in to absolute perfection.

Plus in history fuheng and consort ling never loved each other, but instead consort ling loved and devoted her life to the emperor and gave him 7 children. In history, empress rongyin is the emperor’s love, he always visited her memorial but empress ling was his favourite.

Just finished watching this drama today. It was a beautiful love story between Fuheng, Yinglou and the Emperor. It doesnt end good for Fuheng, but I’m sure, Fuheng understand what Yinglou truly wants and he was there in every step that Yinglou take. They take care for each other even distance separated them. And, Yinglou know there’ll always be a special place in her heart for Fuheng to reside. It’s just, she knows, in this life, it was too impossible for them to be together. That’s why, she promised him to be together in another life. And for the emperor, we all know best how much his love for Yinglou. He always take a great length to protect Yinglou and Yinglou acknowledged it even without confessing the truth. Yinglou loved Fuheng, but she live in a present therefore, she learn to accept the emperor and I think, in her heart, she also love the emperor even not as much as her love for Fuheng. Beautiful story indeed, and all the OST for this drama, have a beautiful lyrics and represents sorrow and grief for our beloved Fuheng and Yinglou 🥺

I am currently at ep 11. At first I shipped Yingluo with the Emperor, but last ep I figured out that Fuheng will fall for her and totally shipped her with him. So I watched some MV to see if indeed they will have a love line. And sadly I also found they won’t have a happy ending. This video is enough for me to tell she deeply loved Fuheng. 😢

I just finish the series and even though I knew it might not happen I kept on holding my breath for maybe a little tiny bit of shared affection moment between fuheng and yin Lou but it didn't happen I hope they make another drama together not with a sad ending like this one and I think most of the people in this story are also in Legend of hao lan

actually yin lou and the emperor fit together well because at, legend of hao lan, they were together a few up what's wrong and so on and story of yanxi palace plays in a later dynasty as legend of hao lan so it may be the emperor's and ying lou belong together because they can not be together in the past. :)
