That's the only good thing those HOA's are good for. lol. Lmao I limbed those trees just like the power company does. hahaha hahaha. That was a good one.
I was working up in Winston Salem one time and had been up there for a month. We finished up on a friday afternoon and i was ready to go home bigtime when the boss decided we were going over to his buddys house to plant some trees. I was pissed off. I hooked a cablevision wire the size of my arm with the backhoe and knocked out the cable for the entire subdivision. Folks were not happy.
Back in the early 1990's in Down Town Winston-Salem, guy's were pouring exposed aggregate side walks around the Federal Court House. They had Barricade's up and Yellow & Black Tape, Signs, the Works. I drove a 10 Yd Ready Mix Truck and was going back to our Downtown Central Mix plant. They used the smaller 8yd Trucks on this kind of job because of the extra work involved on this kind of Labor intensive pour, about 6 cubic yards at a time. I'm coming by and I see one of our older guy's in his early 60's holding this woman's leg up hosing Concrete off her leg, shoe off, Heel's mind you, and YES Panty Hose. He was smiling ear to ear!! She was a young Lawyer, and she was extremely good looking. She walked right over and thru the Barricade's and walked right thru the Concrete that was wet, and just had been Floated! I eased up and asked if He needed any Help. He said no, I got this! I asked her if she was o.k. and she started smiling and blushing. She said she was fine, just embarrassed. I was only about 23 at the time so, I asked if I could have one of her business cards but, she was holding on to the back of the Truck with both hands. She said she would send one with the other Driver. She did to my suprise and YEP, I got Lucky!! Oh to be young again!! GOOD TIMES!
we were in a small town trenching across the roadway to put in a pipe. City put up a detour sign on both sides. had a bunch of orange cones set up some T posts with orange snow fencing well marked. We went half way down the block to eat at the restaurant for noon. Heard a loud noise. Some little girly had ignored all of the barricades and warnings. Hit the fencing right in the middle and launched the car over the dirt pile and almost made it all of the way across the ditch. Found the car with her still in it. The fencing wrapped the car so that she couldnt get out of the car even with a open window. We made sure to take poloroids of everything so that when her dad the rural mail delivery post man heard about it and came into town hot enough to fight. We just handed him the stack of photos. He settled down pretty quick.
You're so young and good looking, four year's ago of course you're even better looking now too, One more thing i got to learn southern language is cool
Where did yesterday's Chris go. You certainly calmed down or your editing skills have dulled you down. So much fun, and you still deal in M E R D. You are still great to watch.
Chris y’all should of been on a sanitation sewer line we were doing for a pretty decent size Twp. There was at least 4 or 5 job shitters on the job well there was one sitting on a side road that needed to be moved so i grabbed the komatsu 250 wheel loader with the forks and went to get it. Well shit i slid the forks under neath it put in reverse was looking out the back window be damed when I looked forward and seen the door fly open there was the job inspecter in his kaky pants and white shirt covered in the blue water and what ever else was on. Let me tell things went down hill quick after that but i was laughing so dam hard my stomach was hurting
Sadly when i worked for a sign company we had a similar unknown wire incident..The power company marked the underground wire wrong....The guy using a 10 wheeler with an auger found it..luckily my boss and i taking 10 in our truck while he dug the hole.. It sounded like dynamite when he hit it..We helplessly watch as both the truck and operator became a fireball..I was eighteen..
