You've actually just gave me a different perspective as a DV survivor myself. I've always hid my story from my children and the abuse their father caused. I have 3 teenage girls and maybe me being honest will somehow warn them of ever being in that situation themselves.
Definitely go for it ❤️ it may be hard to relive but tell your girls , let them know that part of your life bc it happened no matter how hard u try to hide it from them u can’t hide it from yourself u know what’s best & you’ll do the right thing whatever that may be I wish you the best ❤️
In my opinion (I am a DV survivor also) I think you should be honest and share things that are hard to discuss. You don’t necessarily have to say who did it to you if you want to protect them from that part but share your story in hopes that it will open their eyes to danger and red flags to watch out for. Ask them during the discussion “Do you personally see any red flags yet so far in the story?” And if they haven’t, point them out. We need to educate our babies, because school isn’t teaching them this. And god forbid someone lay a hand on them!! I am with you in spirit Mina ❤

This is sick I left my baby daddy alone because he would give me warning hits hit me but not too hard to let me know he can do damage, I took my daughter and ran and I’m 8 months pregnant again same father but I took that walk of faith thank you so much for sharing your testimony I’m sorry you had to go through that but you have gave me more strength to keep going I also blocked all of his family out because their the flying monkeys of his narcissistic demeanor but it’ll all come to light one day. You are strong to walk away and hearing your story gave me so much strength! Thank you for helping me with more confidence I believe my baby father was trying to plot on me and sometimes he’ll attack me verbally or push me on purpose and he would act a fool in front of his family showing me that I wasn’t a priority he was showing them how he really didn’t care about me. It was sick! They truly have plans to break a woman down especially if they know your spiritual last time he assaulted me or was in front of people at a hotel and he tried to run out with my daughter he put her down when everyone started calling the police these men are sick
Thank you for posting this truly. I’ve been abused by my stepfather for years and my mother never protected me. After basically running away from home and later getting into a verrry toxic marriage. I never knew how immune I was to discomfort and abuse until talking with a couple of friends and family. I finally found the courage to pull myself out with the help of my father away from what I used to call home. I felt your heart and pain in this story! I felt your testimony! I broke down when you said “that little girl inside of me needs me”. With the passion for how deeply you want to protect her as an adult. Thank you for allowing yourself to be transparent and unafraid to speak your truth. I pray one day God will allow us to meet and share a hug with a few kind words. Because I feel spiritually connected with you. May you and your family continue to live in the alignment of God. I love you and your beautiful family. I’m so glad you are able to reflect. He was a terrible abusive man. And men like that will see what you will accept. And the more you accept the more you believe you have little worth and you deserve this treatment. They become used to treating you like shi while loosing respect for you and you loose respect for yourself. Damn it’s hard when some takes advantage of someone’s kindness and naïveté.

Well I don’t have any friends so even though I can’t talk back to you I love love love you and your entire family. I always felt like if I entertained social media I was putting something before God but baby when I tell you I look at my phone every 5 minutes to wait for you to pop up it’s serious! I definitely have been following you since day 1. I’m finally getting out of my shell to actually comment and share. Amen... You are a survivor. I have been there as well. I was abused and almost lost my life. He choked me until he almost crushed my trachea. The doctor told me that if I had not come into the hospital when I did, my story would be different. Thank you for sharing your testimony. It is a testimony because it was a TEST that you withstood and came back to share. God has you always❣️

It takes a lot to be vulnerable to the world thank you for opening up about your life experiences and trauma its sad how someone you love can treat you so bad I will never understand why that happens all you ever do is wonder why why why it's a sad situation and I'm glad you are at peace and healing from your past trauma I hope and pray that the women who are being abused and mistreated will be strong enough and gain the courage to leave I do think that some women stay in bad relationships cuz they don't have anywhere else to go and cuz they are scared to be alone it must be painful sleeping with the enemy and not being strong enough to leave 💔 enough is enough and us women need to have the balls to grow through what we go through not stay and put up with the abuse cuz it's a never ending cycle that repeats itself you fall for his lies and then you end up heartbroken all over again cuz he fooled you with his lies and sweet talk I'm so sorry you went through such heart ache I'm glad God healed you and now your living in peace God bless you ❤️

I have been following you for a little over a year now and I have always loved you and your family. This story today reminds me so much of me.. minus the children..that I love you and your family 10 times more. I love to see a woman that has a big platform use it in a positive way that touches everybody! I was in my 20's when I went through my turmoil. Now I'm 41 and I gave birth to my only baby girl in Nov 2021. I had to go through things and overcome somethings along the way but I feel just like you... now I know what to accept and what not accept and now I fully love myself.
