I've personally had one specifically during 2017, also 2019 I believe I had a dark night of the soul experience..... and now it feels like transition, not as scary but new growth.... a little exciting, a little nerve racking because it's new. Nonetheless, beautiful. Sometimes change or awakenings aren't pleasant. The real awakening for me was realizing spirit was with me every single time, every crash, turn and breakthrough. One of the most memorable awakenings for me came from a Malaysian woman whom I worked with at Starbucks. She told me about her culture pre Christianity and post. She broke down the pagan origins of the holidays we know as Christmas and Easter. It opened my eyes to a new unexplored world.
