this is very beautiful story, but at the same time, i can't help but feel sad about the fact that a lot of women who work outside home like Perrie feel like a pregnancy is "ruining everything". says a lot about how our culture makes us chose betwee work or having children, a lot of women even losing their job for that reason. men don't usually have this problem.
To be fair, Perrie wasn't thinking it ruined her life. It just ruined the schedule or certain things planned as Little Mix (probably for concerts or music promotion) But I get your point. It is still a general feeling especially among working class women.

@@keienn7259 yes i quoted it wrong (it's corrected now), but still, it's a problem most women have, and as you said, specially in working class women. if Perrie felt a little like this, a woman who could even lose her home or income if she loses her job... it's hard not to be afraid by maternity as long as it's treated this way
@@cathydenby2532 babe that was not it... in any way shape or form i implied that they don't love their children or aren't happy with them, i just quoted what she said (wrong the first time, my fault) and a feeling a looot of women had, specially the ones who are not as privileged as the ones you are mentioning. but even by your example, you can admit that's it's not as common to see the father of those babies or any famous men worrying about how a baby will affect their work schedule (i don't believe Alex has said this about his football career, for example). that's bc society doesn't put the same responsability in mothers than it does in fathers, so it doesn't translate in the same worry. my mom is the most hard working person i know, and she still felt like she needed to stop working when my brother was born. it was her decision and i respect it 100%, but the truth is, my dad never even thought about it. he didn't feel like he need it to. and there's thousand of stories like mine. (and yeah of course it's better than before. it's still not where i should be)
I mean it doesn’t make sense why men would have this problem when they can’t give birth lol unless you mean just having kids in general but even then paternity leave isn’t as long as maternity, but I agree it obviously shouldn’t happen at all that they have to choose between kids and their job (I’m not sure I got your point or not tho)

Jade (the one at the end) is not having a baby. The pregnancies were not planned at all so wen they found out it was a shock cuz it wasn’t planned. I hope that clarifies that 🙂
