I took just one thing away from this video...... When God ordaines something!! Ain't no devil in hell can separate... I'm just thinking like what if this wasn't ordained by God. And the second thing is that a child in a marriage has the ability to bring the two closer together or apart!!! Yoooow you have an idea of how much these storytime matters!!

Guys you have just saved a whole lot of marriages from getting divorced because some simple little things separate ppl and we forget that we are Christians and should forgive at all times regardless of the offense our partner does against us. keep up the good work am so glad that you both are living your lives to please God and each other. A female pastor once told me that marriages by themselves don't work out takes both parties to make it work and it's hard work. She encouraged me so much just by saying that cuz it was someone that I looked up to.

I loved the part where Bas talked about seeking professional help. Noone is above getting help dealing with mental health. Unfortunately, especially in Christendom, we are stigmatized to this and are seen as weak. We think that just speaking in tongues at the Pentecostal altar fixes all things, when there is so much more work that needs to be put in for an individual to be whole again in all aspects of their life. That story with Bree made me cry ... As simple as it was, it was so profound and emotional. Huge respects also for the grandparents and others who supported you. I tell ppl always that the support doesn't end on with being witnesses on the wedding day ..but we are called to walk with each other throughout. when i read the article i was like "da man ya brave". I understood however why it had to be done but at the same time i was scared for y'all. all in all i said to myself, he would find another job soon enough so that that's nothing compared to being there for his family. I love the honesty...especially from a Christian couple. I often wondered how and why so many of my older family had rough lives and I realized that their elders didn’t talk honestly to them about these matters. There is this habit in Jamaican culture of “mi no wan pry” or “the younger ones are seen but not heard” or “a no everything you talk bout.” So, they learn the hard way. Even up until now I ask my mother about different things about my older family (many of them are not even marriage related) and, I ask her why she didn’t ask her mother or grandmother about these things. And, she simply told me, “When I was young you could not ask the elders certain things...we would have gotten slapped.” So, I’ve been doing the asking. I ask my grandmother certain things and even some simple things she is hesitant to tell. I’ve realized that there is a cycle of don’t ask, don’t tell which needs to be broken. So, I have had to break a lot of my family out of their shell of unwarranted silence. It has been a journey, but they have been speaking on a lot of matters now which they would have kept quiet on, otherwise. So, this honesty that you have between each other and with your audience is well appreciated. I pray that you all continue strongly in the Lord as wife and husband, a union that the Lord treasures, and that you use your voices to teach others even by telling a story, in Jesus’ name, Amen. Thank you for sharing, i was sharing with one of my mentee that God will not allow you to go through fire and not give you beauty at the end of the day. You knw what yield out at me when brian said that bri saw him and said dad is here and is still here that stood out to me and also what was said in regards to presence and not presents

What I've learned is that it is absolutely important for BOTH persons in a relationship to have a true and binding relationship with God in order for a marriage to work. It was easy for either or both of you to be unfaithful to each other, or to just give up, but when you remember your commitment to God and each other you guys persevered. Never knew you guys would have had a part 2 of this but I'm glad you did. I'm sure that many couples out there are blessed by this video. I'm not yet married but I heard someone once said that people don't try marriage but marriage try them and based on the many stories that I have heard so far I realize that it's really true. No marriage is perfect but there is a perfect God. What God ordained He will maintain and that's what took place with you guys. I'm glad Brian that you saw it fit to had left your job at the time that you did to save your marriage and family. Family were instituted by God and must never be neglected. Many of the issues that face in our society and the world at large today is a result of the break down in our families. If we have healthy families we will have a healthy nation and a healthy world. I can tell you too that the roughest part of a relationship is when you are to get married! The engagement part was rough because the devil hates marriages!All along we were ok,but as soon as we were to make things right,problems arose left,right and centre!

Wow my husband is from Spanish town and he’s stuck in his ways... and I feel like we were always being attacked by these evil forces too Brian, which put a strain on our marriage. Thanks for your advice guys because at one point I felt like giving up too and we had to relearn how to love each other’s like day one. Family helps a lot to encourage a better lifestyle lol

The children missed having me around in their day to day lives so we decided that I would leave that job and find something locally. The Lord has blessed us and the children and I are better for it.
