Story Time with Patrick - The Day I Saved My Dads Life 

Holy Crap your story is almost exactly like mine to a T. Minus my mom calling 911 and helping me rip my dad off the bed. I called 911 and ripped my dad off the bed and I remember the dispatcher asking me if he had a pulse. I was already in full responder mode I was already gone for compressions. It took Paramedics 4 minutes to arrive. They waved me off compressions and hooked up pads and administrated a shock. He came back instantly. He was wide awake. They lifted him up on his feet and placed him on the stretcher. He went into Afib enroute to hospital and was given drugs to get him out of that. I have 14 years of parks and recreation experience where I learned professional first aid and CPR. Also it helped I had 1.6 years of firefighting experience and another 9 years of Sheriff's office experience. I have seen some sh!t but to this dad I can't wish my dad a happy birthday, father's day without going into white girl crying moments. Happy to hear your success my dad is doing well but now everytime I get a call from my mom I worry.
