First of all there is no such thing as a VENEER TECH! STAWWWWP IT! This is just ghetto. I went to her tik tok and told her how dumb she was. I do not feel sorry for her at all. People literally going to office buildings and the back of salons to get veneers? I’m a whole Registered Nurse your heart health is literally linked to your oral health and folks are literally letting girls with canva made fake certificates and figs scrubs play in your mouth. Sidenote just because somebody wears scrubs doesn’t mean they are a medical profession! I’m sicka Yall and the foolishness. These are the same people who will go get some janky mess done to them then turn around and wind up at the hospital harassing the nurses and doctors because you’re not being seen fast enough or getting your pain meds fast enough when you’re dumb behind wouldn’t be in this predicament had you went and got a back alley bbl or some TikTok veneers. If you can’t afford a procedure the you shouldn’t be getting period.

Education is extremely important. Please y'all, stop telling others that school is overrated. A legitimate degree/education of some sort might not help you get the career you want, BUT it will definitely help you achieve a wealth of knowledge for your own good. Reading is fundamental. Knowledge is power.

So nothing about this person gave fake dentist? In what world does any dentist office operate in this manner?!? People have to be smarter about going to get cheap medical procedures done when people are not even licensed! Nothing about this story would have made me sit there in that chair or open my mouth in the first gd place. No ma’am! Save up and go to a professional and LICENSED dentist. Veneers are not a damn dental service it is purely cosmetic so no the government will not fund this. There are literal free dental clinics that go to rural areas and people can go to universities where the dental schools give free or reduced dental care all the time from the dentistry students Veneers are not that what this dumb dumb went to go get.

The first thing that happens at a real dentist office, they take x-rays taken by their tech, before you see the actual dentist. THIS should have been your first clue.

I just started the video so I am not sure if this is the case here but there is a dentist that does shorts on RU-vid and he said there is trend of people getting composite veneers missing the most important step. They are supposed to be cured ("cooked") when they are applied. When they aren't it leads to disaster.

Anything you want to do to your body, there must be a thorough due diligence process to make sure the establishment is legitimate. She could’ve gotten some Invisalign with a monthly payment plan to straighten and grab some baking soda and toothpaste to whiten it up. Girl, you are not going to get your money. Gonna have to shave, I mean take that L. The way she came in HAM in the video let’s me further know she DID NOT do her due diligence. Ooof good luck 😮!

If you have to get your teeth shaved down it's not veneers and I would never leave the USA to have any procedure done. If I can't afford it here then it just won't happen and I definitely wouldn't let a veneer tech that's only had a couple of days of training put their hands in my mouth.

People need an orthodontist and braces but don’t want to put in the time and work. Braces are a slow process. I’d rather do that than this whole veneers mess. Instant gratification smh. These are people who probably don’t even go in for their routine cleaning two times a year.

I had to first stop screaming to even listen to the story. I can be completely numb, just hearing the drill makes me cry. At some point I had to stop the video. Only see a licensed dentist.

So no X-rays were done? She didn’t know that only a dentist can legally do veneers 🥴🥴🥴. This is what happens when you take shortcuts. Veneer techs are not even a real credential-dental assistants/technicians are an actual credential and even they are not licensed to put on veneers. This shortcut she took will now cost her because of the medical bills from the infection she got-an infection that could’ve went into her bloodstream causing sepsis. Do better man.?

You didn’t bother to ask any real follow-up questions when she said that they might best partially glued on?
