Storyboard: Concept AMV: Adam & Eve 

I visualized everything in my head. With surprisingly good results.

Update time.. SOOO the current "Story AMV" I've been working on has taken way longer than I ever anticipated. I'm trying to do what I did for "Waifu Insurance" by making custom scenes, but this time for a whole 4 minute long song. I actually completed the general storyboard around a year ago..(Think like what I did for "Storyboard: Concept AMV: Adam & Eve") As some of you may know I also am quite busy with college and am in my senior year of Mechanical Engineering. I want to assure you guys that YES, I am alive :O and YES, I am still working on videos. I may or may not work on a different video in between the "Story AMV" but know I appreciate your patience and hope that you will continue to be patient with me. I am still shocked that I've become as popular as I have and am grateful for those who have stuck around until now. Stay awesome and have a Happy New Year!

Honestly sounded like a pretty solid idea, I have yet to see a good AMV about that topic. I do understand why you scrapped the project though, seems a bit cliche, as you mentioned. Can't wait for Anime Stew 2 :D

Oh, who cares about the "cheesiness?" I think the basic concept of a species coming together to help (and succeed) in just sending off enough people to hopefully keep the race going - and in such short reaction time - is a rather beautiful story and works very very well with the song. I guess I see what you mean with "plot holes" as someone pointed out with the Earth exploding or whatnot. But that's not really important: could make it NOT blow up but hope for mankind is still assumably lost, or it does blow up but that was also started by a military government order somewhere and basically to keep the next planet from being overrun by these aliens. Like I said, it's the basic concept and music pairing here that I think deserves attention: not the particular plotlines.

There's always that one teddy bear kid. This sounds very compelling, I saw everything in my head.

Just finished watching it and omg! This is awesome!!!! It's not the most original idea, but it's felt so powerful, so emotional even though it was just text on a screen and music in the background. This video is actually amazing! It's a real shame you won't be making the final piece. It's an AMV man, they don't need to be storytelling epics, just something to make us smile at how talented you are at making AMVs. Oh well :3

And to clarify, the truly awesome thing here is that, anyone willing to just 'go with it' just imagined the greatest trailer to an awesome movie they could possibly ever come up with. You sparked my imagination. Thank you.

Sir, make this real. I don't find it cheesy at all; I love the idea. I think it'd be absolutely fabulous if you made this into an amv :D

It has a lot of potential, though this is more suited as a cliffhanger for another season of 'Adam & Eve' whilst switching the MC roles to those two. The entire beginning would have to go in depth on how the Aliens came to be, and how they sort of attacked Earth, as to why the only attacked Earth (considering that their universe consists of life forms besides Humans), you could also talk about whether or not they communicated or co-existed peacefully or not. Then you can focus on to some of the people mentioned in the storyboard, such as the hacker and whomever else you might deem important. The government/secret group or whatever could be discussed onto why they built the rocket and had the woman and/or man fly off. The relationship between the hacker(s) could either be a peaceful thing or if they've been in rivaled thing for years and they decided to make peace at that time. As to where they're going to fly to could also be mentioned, possibly connected as to why the hacker(s) and government/group are rivals, if you decide to take that path. I could go even more in depth but I'm too lazy, just keep in mind it's great either as a cliffhanger or a beginning.

Pretty damn good in my opinion. Even the best stories will have at least some cheese with holes in them, so don't worry about things like that. Can't wait for Animu Stew 2.

Is this how you normally plan for your AMV's? You write everything out like that in such great detail?! This is amazing! I love how detailed you are with everything. Your AMV's actually tell a story instead of it just being a bunch of random things all smashed together! -takes notes- teach me the ways please! XD

Not sure I like the "Earth explodes" ending - it's too basic and vague in my opinion. Why does it explode? Did the aliens explode it? But why would they explode it with aliens still on earth? What were they trying to achieve? Consider revising the ending a bit.

i also tried doing my amv this way the last time..... well, i didn't find what i was looking for at all and just used something completely different in the end xD sounds pretty nice to me dough, would love to see that :P

Honestly not the most original storyboard ever, and also difficultly relatable which makes it hard to emote with the characters. Maybe one with the victims/survivors of natural/human disasters, humanity rising from the ashes so to speak ? Same clichéd moral of peoples' integrity winning over their fear in the face of extreme drama ( though neither are bad, just done alot ), but with a more relatable premise, at least in my opinion. You could use shows like Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Grave of the Fireflies, A Spirit of the Sun and Yomigaeru Sora Rescue Wings ( the latter of which you could use for the soldier/plane scenes for your original video idea ). No matter what you choose, you'll probably make an exceptional amv ( I love your A Drop of Hope ). Good luck dude.

Good that this was scrapped, it was, honestly, really bad. I came up with an idea for a better anime on my way home from school...

I'm pretty sure the first 30 seconds just describe battle Los Angeles... Why not just rip the footage? (Jk (but also seriously sounds similar))

So you planning on making your own animations because you got story construction down. Also for the reason why the planet exploded, you don't need an explanation really. Why, well besides being your own creation and doing what ever you want. Because that was not your goal. (Now this is speculation from my perspective so I could be entirely wrong, but here is my guess). From what I see this was too make the audience feel drama, if you will. To see "Adam and Eve" escape certain annihilation. During which to see humanity gather and make sure "Adam and Eve" get out of harms way. Once humanity got them out into space they all rejoiced and in turn were also dead. Humanity stopped fighting because their goal was complete so when "Adam and Eve" were observing Earth they knew that all of humanity was doomed and for that the Earth exploded. Because to them, "Adam and Eve", on that day Humanity died and in turn the Earth, our home, faded away. And that was your only goal in this animation. Not to explain why the hacker helped NASA (For lack of me being lazy so I don't lose my though process), Why was the child standing there, or why there was a child at all, Why did a bunch of people get guns/ have guns to help the repairman, etc. That was not your goal. Your goal was to see humanity sacrifice themselves for just 2 people. So judging this work from that perspective, this was a masterpiece.
