Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. I always tell people if you're worried take a second and just fill it for peace of mind. It can't hurt to have it filled :)

Hi I havent used anything else but I have seen other videos where people have ordered rubber rings for the bottom. Not sure how they hold up but my tumbler I made is still going strong.

Yes I epoxied the outside added the black glitter and then epoxied again until smooth. Like you would do any other tumbler

Are you making sure your rim is clear? Sometimes I have to screw the bottom back on to get the plastic piece to fit back like normal

Ummm you could prob put the glitter in first. Sometimes I mix the liquid and glitter and then pour it all in together. Not a silly question either 😁

If you follow this video you should be able to get the liquid all the way to the top. I am currently making another video start to finish on this storyboard. Its a little crazy with the holiday coming so I'm doing it in between orders :)

Hey sorry I didn't see this until now. Yes when the glitter clumps together its becuz of too much glycerin. Im glad everything worked out for you :)

Yes :) go all the way to the top so it seals the top rim so when you fill it the cup won't leak at the top :)

I do lightly sand. Like barely scratch it.

This is why I use promarine for the inside. I've had my tumbler for just about a year now and the epoxy on the inside is fine :)

Thats why in my video I said sometimes I do 1/4 3/4 I just dont do more than 1/3 2/3. When I was doing 50/50 is when I was having issues with the glitter. I havent had any issues with my tumblers.

I dont but you apply the tattoo the same way you'd apply the tattoo to skin. Cut it to size. Place it on the cup and then apply water with a wet sponge or cloth :)

This is a temp tattoo I bought off Amazon. Its a sleeve and I just cut it up to fit

I glue it and then put it on my turner and put a thin layer of epoxy on it. I explain everything in the tutorial :)

If you add too much glycerin theyll clump together :)

Sometimes I do if the metal isnt completely flat. It honestly couldn't hurt to throw some in there :)

If your waterslides are starting to run i would make sure you spray them 2 or 3 coats before applying the epoxy and always do at least 2 coats of epoxy before adding the water. Make sure your epoxy is also cured (72 hours)

Thank you my thats the process I used with water slides I will try the other steps again..maybe there was a pin hole spot missed with epoxy.

I've never had any of my waterslides run but I have heard people say they've had that issue and its usually due to it not being sealed enough. I always used triple thick glaze on mine so maybe that's the trick becuz it goes on thicker? I still do at least 2 coats thou :)

@Ronette Broyles its a spray paint buts its thicker than regular clear spray paint :)

I heard the baby oil will eat away at the silicone sealant. So if you have a diff way of sealing it you could use baby oil 🤷‍♀️

So ive only ever done it the way I showed in the video. I cover the inside with silicone put the bottom on and then epoxy the whole outside of the tumbler. Silicone will repell epoxy

Yes you want to make sure its glued and dried really really well before you epoxy it :)

I have done it both ways but I find the epoxy is the better way of the 2

Thats the brand I researched was the best becuz its a marine grade epoxy. So I havent tried anything else. I usually buy a small bottle for it since I use another brand for all my other tumblers :)

I have a container that is full of the mixture becuz I never know how much im going to exactly use. It depends on how many layers of epoxy you do on the inside. You can always fill it with water and then dump it into a measuring cup to see how much liquid it takes. Then you'll know exactly how much you need

So when you apply the epoxy on the outside of the tumbler I add the glitter to the top and bottom. Then when thats dry I add another coat of epoxy. Like you would normally do for any other glitter tumbler. Add the glitter does add more steps so make sure to charge accordingly :)

If your are doing 1/3-2/3 ratio and its still clumping it could be either too much glitter or the glitter itself. I do find that the fine glitter clumps the most so I either do very little or I add a chunkier glitter in with it

These aren't double walled i dont believe so maybe that's why its sweating. Ive never had mine sweat but then again I usually finish my drink fairly quickly so its never sat before.

Is that the 521? Is says that the hardener cures to an Amber finish. I'm afraid to put that on a white background.

For adding the tattoo I spray it white becuz the tattoo is like a "clear waterslide". I spray white. Let dry. Add tattoo. Let dry. Apply epoxy to seal tattoo

It's a full sleeve tattoo. I cut it in half put the top half on one side and the bottom half on the other side.

Are you lightly sanding the plastic? You need to make sure the epoxy can stick to the cup so you have to lightly and I mean lightly sand becuz if u sand too much ull see the scratches becuz its plastic/see thru

@@offerituptimelesscreations4452 I was referring to the stainless steel top and bottom (the rim and the bottom lid you screw on) I also have problems with the epoxy sticking to the acrylic, sometimes it does and other times it repels, even if i wipe it with 99% alcohol before I epoxy ...I didn't know you could sand the acrylic part at all I thought it would scratch it and you would see it thru the epoxy. Let me know what you do ...thanks so much ! I love your tutorial , ive made several since watching it and just trying to perfect my technique

@@offerituptimelesscreations4452, thanks for getting back to me. What grit do you use on the plastic part so it doesn't show scratches? I'm always afraid of ruining it. I am currently using amazing clear cast but just ordered some from diy epoxy, their artisan one.

I use the finest sanding block and barely put any pressure on it so it doesn't leave huge deep scratches. Ive never had any scratch marks show up. It could be the alumilite that repelling. I use ksresin for the outside and have never had a problem. Just make sure your plastic part is super clean :) sometimes if the glycerin gets on it then that can cause it to repell

@@jovicooke lightly sand and when i say light i mean lighhhttttttt you don't want to scratch it too much becuz u will see it. Then wipe it down. There was one time I didn't sand i just wiped down with alcohol and the epoxy adhered with no issues.

I didn't seal it. I applied the tattoo. Let it dry overnight and then put the epoxy over it :)
