I'm not an analyst but I'm proficient in excel and power bi. An executive told me to "find the story in the data" and it honestly did not know what he meant by that. I gave him a dashboard he's happy with but now I'm going to refine it using your tips. This was very useful.
Story telling and navigational experience is the most underrated skill in BI today. It is equally or rather more important than the technical skillset. Visualizing complex data in simple yet meaningful way is the key to a successful product. Thanks for the video ❤

Great video. but i think that Over-simplification may lead to loss of valuable context and insights. Balance simplicity with depth by offering drill-down capabilities for users who need detailed analysis.
A second page could offer more contextual information. I think this clean first page is the way to go. What story is completely told on a single page anyway? Not many.
