Lovely photos very similar to ours,we were married in 1972 but the photos were black and white. I was 19 that seems young now but we were definitely more mature in those days.

Morning Maria. How lovely to see and hear about your wedding. I agree with your other viewers, Becky looks so like you. Your mum was tall too, you must take after her. How things have changed now regarding weddings. I'm on my second marriage but my daughter has my first wedding album and my wedding dress. I was married 17 years first time, now been married 30 years. We have 5 children but none together, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild and another due in September. Family is so important. Thank you for sharing xx

You looked lovely Maria. I arranged a suprise dinner for my mum and dad’s wedding anniversary and all my brothers and their families at Blusdon Hotel. I had ordered a rolls Royce to pick them up and take them to the hotel. My mum got out and said, ‘that was a posh taxi’ she had no idea it was a rolls Royce.

Hi Maria, your wedding album pictures are great, thankyou so much ,as I loved seeing those, it's a while since I sat down to look at photos like this, whether my own pics, or sitting down with a friend, I'm not sureif people still do, bit I remember sitting down with a cuppa and looking at my neighbour's holiday ones, and one or two wedding ones too. I did find it fascinating being told about who the guests were, so I'm going to take a look later at a two albums that were given me by my cousin, a few years ago now, and the album pics must be from the 70s showing two of my cousins wedding photos. My late uncle had them, and when he passed away, my cousin kindly gave them to me, as they were in h7s garage at the time. I said I would love to have them, as I didn't go to both there weddings at the time. Looking forward to seeing the other ladies wedding pics. Take care 🎉xxx

Hi Maria, loved looking at your wedding photos if you got married in 1978 you have been married 46 years in September. I had the same as you met my husband with my best friend we were both visiting his grandma in Dagenham, Essex we met and he took me home to my home in London on his motorbike he lived in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire we only saw each other at weekends. He had a car so we eventually got married two years later in 1960 and then bought our house in 1961. Sadly Ron passed away in 2015 after we had been living in Spain for 10 years we were married 55 years when he died and I still miss him every day we were best friends as well I now live with my son who never got married.❤️❤️

Lovely vlog Maria. I recently looked through my wedding album as packing up to move house. It is lovely to reminisce. Like you times have changed I married at 19 in 1980 it was 44 years in May. I agree with you we are friends lovers and partners makes for a long marriage.

My Daughter was born in September 1978 so she is 46 this year. Where have the years gone? 😊

I always feel a bit choked up when I look at our wedding album….like you the first photo is of myself and my Dad waking up the path to the church. Very few people had videos in those days and most photos were fairly formal. I had a Mary Quant dress….well made from a Mary Quant pattern and I didn’t wear a veil. My mum and I nearly fell out over that! I think John’s Welsh family weren’t too impressed about that either. I wasn’t a rebel, quite timid really, but made my stand! Sadly my John died just before his 70th birthday. But the best of memories!xx Liz

I was married in 1969 and your wedding and mine in a lot of aspects mirrors mine. In those days we were able to have beautiful weddings without spending a fortune! Our special day means just as much to us as those today who spend thousands! Your album is exactly the same as ours. Lovely. ❤
