I've come to realize that ugliness and beauty truly lie within the soul, and that outward appearances are just that - outward. People who treat others terrible purely because of looks are ugly deep down inside, but I'm happy that I'm now in a mental space where I can fully appreciate the beauty of my essence rather than hyperfixating on how I look. I hope that you can discover the same within yourself as well, confidence and appreciation of yourself is definitely the best asset you could ever have.

@@IzzySunday awww thank you but yeah I got your story that’s happened once to me too in the bus they were mean and say hurtful thing like “she’s with acne,nobody gonna pop that”😥.I was like very concerned about my face after that but now I love every acne scar I have😄 and my husband didn’t even care lol 😂

For the majority of my life, I actually was called ugly on the daily by many people - my family members, classmates, and ex-boyfriend just to name a few. Trust me, I’ve experienced firsthand how damaging it is hearing the same hurtful words for years on end. It’s only been recently within the past 2ish years (I’m 21 for reference) that I haven’t heard such comments as often as I did before. I definitely still do get them, and I feel like that’s unavoidable no matter how “attractive” someone may be - people with malicious intent will always find something to judge at the end of the day. But judgmental and superficial people’s opinions don’t matter, because honestly having confidence and working with what you have is what makes someone gorgeous. It’s so cliche but confidence really is key, sometimes I look back at myself from a couple yrs ago and realize that the biggest change was how I carried myself. It makes all the difference, and I hope everyone who hasn’t found that confidence yet will eventually be able to because that’s all anyone deserves - the right to feel comfortable in their own skin. ❤️
