Only getting around to watching this now and all I can say is well done Jay!! Honestly thank you for telling your truth, it must be a real weight of your shoulders to be honest. I am so so proud of you. Everyone who loved you back then still love you now. We all know how caring and how talented you were back then and that is still relevant now. You’re an incredible person inside and out. I hope you know that going through all of this that you actually changed a lot of OUR lives for the better. Without you being in Kingsland, I wouldn’t have the friends I have today that I truly call family. Abbie stevens is like a little sister to me. Then there’s zoe, beth. Megan, charl, nat, we all met because of you guys and we have stayed friends who talk every single day without fail. We can’t thank you all enough. Because of you guys I got to travel so much, I was travelling to England from Ireland almost every month for like 3/4 years coming to see you guys, partying, etc and it was some of the most fun years of my life. I can’t thank you guys enough. I’m so proud of you, you’re a big part of my life and always will be, I’ll support you always!

After being there from the teaser until last year at reunion which now I understand why you didn't want to be involved, it breaks my heart seeing how hard it was on you. Self confidence and mental health is a hard thing to deal with but the fact you've now built yourself back up to carry on shows how strong you are. You're amazing and we all love you❤️❤️

Really hope you’re proud of yourself and I’m so glad you’re solo now because everyone needs to hear that voice. That’s the thing with those shows sometimes they take away the singer you’re actually meant to be and try morph you Into what they want! You’re amazing though and your voice is so beautiful and unique. Wish you nothing but the best and sorry you had to face what you did but at least you came out on top x

Yeh totally relate to producers making best decisions for songs who sang part best/ who sound best for a particular vibe of song/ part /line of particular song. Used to be in couple boybands. Sometimes someone might be better vocalist but they would prefer u and your voice just happens to work best /better for song....

So where do I start. Firstly I had no idea you had all this experience in a boy band etc. Secondly, it makes me so angry that they didn't let you sing apart from oohs and aahs. I watched the live shows. It's actually disappointing they let you sing not a single line on your own and it makes me wonder why. I also found your boy band audition. Notice the judges had a straight face until YOU opened your mouth and sang - it gave me goosebumps. Listen, I think you're so amazing - great personality on camera and such an amazing singer. Please don't give up because of unfair managers etc. I hope you get more exposure as a solo artist in the years to come. Best wishes Jay!

This makes me sad, Kingsland were my band from the very first RU-vid video and ALL of you have so much talent. I supported you from the start and I always will, I absolutely knew that XF just wasn’t ‘Kingsland’ (and when they added ‘Road’ on the end 👀😂). Yeh on xfactor I was fan of group. I just assumed they put u in group for looks and image and couldn’t really sing as to y u never did

Just rewatched kingsland X factor performances & instantly recall what I felt at the time coz I was / am same age. I felt u looked out of place when they would place u at the end the other 4 looked like group. Then they were giving proper poppy songs, not even with bit of soul like blue vibes. I felt I would have voted had u sang at times as mixed race that could relate to. Found group annoying at the time fake, something didn’t feel right, didn’t take to them for a reason
