the discourse on pr is mainly coming from people that don’t even make content. what’s crazy is with all the disclaimers so many of us make in our content, they still think we’re dishonest for free shit and literal pennies on the hundreds or thousands of dollars we make these brands. not to mention the ones boasting about going out of their way to not support creators through affiliate links and discount codes. it’s embarrassing and i really hope they call the lady.

Yessss! I can buy my own perfume I’m never risking my authenticity and reputation for free product. I’m already honest with my ppl whether I love it or not. Free perfume ain’t paying my bills and ain’t hardly no perfume brands paying sponsorships they just send free perfume. And even with that I’m not accepting a sponsorship for any product I don’t try and love.

My husband always gets mad when he sees how dusty the exterior of my car is. I love a clean car but going to the car wash is dullsville. I usually get my car to a point where he can’t stand it and he takes it for me😂

Girl, my children are 8 and 6. My husband and I homeschool both of them. We do limit screen time…. No unfettered access for children to media of any sort around here 🙋🏾♀️… however, when they do get to have some time watching TV, we are the parent throwing on old school shows. I bet we are the only parents whose little children watch reading rainbow. 😅

Hi Denise! I enjoyed the vlog. My friend told me she basically has to prescreen movies for the kids, as they be having these topics that the kids don’t understand at all! So she can no longer take the kids to see a kids movie, thinking it’s fine. Let the babies be babies is the absolute truth! The YT beauty space got messy, and a lot of the beauty people slid over into fragrance, so unfortunately, it was bound to get messy. I saw a recent video talking about PR and how how buying all the fragrances is not sustainable. A lot of the complaining and messiness is routed in jealousy and the fact that they don’t receive PR. They be telling on themselves!

Fragcom bothered about ppl getting PR?!? Umm 🤔. Anyone who shares and spends their own money, bc obviously most people do, and helps put people on…they should receive PR! And it is minuscule to the money we make companies. It’s the least they can do as a “thank you” to us. Is it the viewers having a problem?! Well how about they stop consuming fragrance content lol. Viewers are the reasons why influencers are influential. I hate to hear you won’t be making much fragrance content moving forward. But I feel you about this space. In 2025 I don’t plan to be here creating. It’s changed so much. And for REAL people and creators, it’s just too different smh. I have for sure seen a popular influencer rave about fragrances and products that she lovesss and received in PR and she sells them all on Poshmark. I was shocked.
