I much prefer it when a foreign company sends their founder or CEO to be the spokesman, even if his English isn't elegant, than a polished salesman they hired to represent them. It seems humanizing and honest when Karl is doing his best to translate on the fly, and it makes me want to buy his products more.

As far as luxury guns go, i feel like that's a pretty sweet deal. 3500-5000 is a lot compared to a Tisas, but pretty competitive in that market segment.

I was actually surprised given that these guns are all made in Germany and Eurozone-made guns command a hefty salty price due to the Euro being worth more than the US Dollar.

Got a 1911 perfect classic stp, its a dreamgun. Had a tight spring that i had to change, after that ive shoot prob 4k rounds without a single malfunction. Absolutt mint trigger and ergo.

I had those guns in my hands and they were extremely tight and well made, i can't say how they perform but the machining quality was top notch. In that price range they are competing with companies like Ed Brown and Alchemy, so they have to run perfect, there is no room for mistakes. A big plus for sales could be that its actually a real german product. Same with the Spohr revolvers at the same booth, extremely high quality stuff.

@@onpsxmember in total i'm assuming another 6-7 months including ~2 months for the acquisition permit to actually put it in my safe would've probably been much much shorter if i didn't opt for a different coating (CrN pvd rather than standard Dlc) since they would probably have one on hand in default form already but since this is basically a custom order they still have to make it beats the 15 months i had to wait for my MR-73 though.... (i usually place orders like those in advance so that i get them about a year after i got my last gun, by then i'll actually have a decent roundcount on the previous gun)

Which is ironic because I have been considering a STP firearm for a while now and we also happen to be on allocation for a Porsche 911 Carrera T (992). The combination of the two will surely make for some incredible photos! Stay classy my friends.

If you're serious about competition shooting, you'll be spending so much money on ammo, gasoline, hotels and whatnot (especially ammo!) that it really doesn't matter that much if your gun costs 1K or 3.5K. So why not get a fine hand-made gun that you really love. Sure it's not 100% necessary especially for dynamic competition shooting, but if you're into target bullseye shooting, I can tell you nothing beats a fine 6" 1911 with an excellent trigger.

That's all of SHOT show, it makes me cringe seeing guns pointed at people, but every gun at the show couldn't fire even if there was ammo so it puts it into perspective. And being in the middle of a show floor you'll be flagging someone basically no matter what.

As far as I know there has not been anyone shot at a shot show by display pieces. I'm pretty sure every single crate and gun is infected to check for active firing pins. Now my other understanding is many are also carrying on the floor. So if somebody was to get shot it's by someone carrying which is very unlikely.
