Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart, you allowed me to see my father's hometown and residence with his 7 brothers and parents. The rest of the extended family also lived in this city. Their address was Drite Mai st. 6 or 8 or maybe 10, he did not remember so much. I do not know how the people who live there feel. But I guess not everyone knows what exactly was on there streets. It was very difficult for me to see that. Feelings of pain.
We stayed with a friend on krakowska Street in 2000.didnt know about what happend on your street video in 1939.😢rip those soles.thanx for information from uk.
My great grandparents house is just behind the church (św. Rodziny) in your video. My grandfather was 19 years old was arrested in November 1939 and sent to KL Dachau. He survived but came back sick and was never the same, died young. Thanks for showing this, I have been exploring old photos and the same streets for a video I'm doing for my channel and stumbled upon yours. Thanks.
I finally get to walk in my family's footsteps, even if it is just virtually. Thank you for this. It means so much to me being a grandchild of Holocaust survivors.
Black Monday took place in Częstochowa on September 4, 1939. Earlier, for 3 days in the vicinity of Częstochowa, there was a fight between German and Polish soldiers. The longest such battle took place in the village of Mokra, [it was only 3 days (from September 1 to September 3). On September 4, German troops entered Częstochowa and on that day committed genocide against Częstochowa inhabitants (only or mainly against Polish people - Christians) by shooting. Throughout the entire period of World War II, Poles were deported by the Germans to concentration camps in occupied Poland and Germany. There, many of them died of exhaustion. The first prisoners of the concentration camp in Oświęcim (apart from the group of German criminals) were Poles. [The first mass transport to the Auschwitz concentration camp - Wikipedia]

Posterunek milicji a potem policji w małym dworku? Zburzony, z tego co wiem i to dawno temu a teraz jest tylko pusty plac. Chyba, że coś powstało w międzyczasie, ale dawno mnie tam nie było. Wspomnień dobrych związanych z tym miejscem i ulicami też nie mam!
