Opening 13 is probably my most favorite opening of all time. The shot of gin when the beat drops 👌😩

"I just wanna watch the show for the swords!!" ...thats a perfect reason to watch the show and they're a pretty big focal point in the anime. :)

The final opening got me crying the first time I saw it. The part where hes walking and it shows him walking past all the episode cover pictures from all the previous episodes.

Bleach has the best openings that i have seen. Especially some of them are incredibly well done. It also has some amazing endings, many are pretty tame though. As there are A LOT of them. Still quite good overall, there aren't any really bad ones. It's more from decent to amazing.

"Ranbu no Melody" holds more impact for those who watched this series this far. That segment near the end shows several scenes from the anime's first story arc in reverse before cutting to a close up of Ichigo with longer hair. What makes it so impactful is that this is the last opening and grand finale to the longest story arc in Bleach. So long, in fact, there was a filler arc in the middle (beach intro).

The last opening has a ton of significance. Get chills every time I see Ichigo walking over the flashes of episode numbers/title cards in the background. So fucking good.

I genuinely recommend watching (or at least skipping through) filler arcs for Bleach - the best way is to do that between canon arcs (Bleach fillers are fun, but last two unfortunately were put in the middle of the finale of the major arc, which made them less enjoyable to watch). 7:40 It also one of the few intro/outros from this series that have changing parts in the MV. Like the postcard right after villains are shown, changed every episode making it even more fun to watch every week). 14:25 As you can see - we are back to main plot. The are three out of four filler arcs that do that. Which sucked originally, but if you watched them afterwards - they are actually really fun and extend story with ethical, political and historical issues about the world. 15:35 Holy shiet, I love Velonica so much. Its right there with Zanpaktou filler opening, Ranbu no Melody and the opening 15. 24:35 In this opening nothing looks like it should. Which is kinda a point of this arc. A secret message hidden in bright colours. 24:50 Here they used all actual episode number title cards from all episodes that happened before. 25:20 Bleach was part of Big Three for a reason. And it hands down is on the second place after One Piece, with Naruto falling behind. If not for quickly cut last arc that wasn't ever adapted - it would be much more well acclaimed. But that may change if they fix the flaws in the upcoming final season.

It's funny how people can recognize which opening is the last, since from the beginning it tries to hit with the past and nostalgia until suddenly show comes to an end.

Bleach has a weird relationship with filler. There'll be a filler arc in the middle of a main arc that really detracts from the story, but most of the filler arcs by themselves are actually really good. You'd probably want to skip them when you get to them, but they're definitely worth going back to watch them later.

Change is 10 year old me's number opening Ranbu no Melody for 16 year old me. and now listening to it again, definitely Chubura Op 8 for 20 year old me.

You 100% need to watch Bleach. Tite Kubo's character work is amazing every character has unique style and personalities, he's also really good at vague foreshadowing that only really clicks on a second watch through. The fillers aren't terrible for being fillers but I'd still avoid watching them on your first watch through because the main story is soo good you'll just want to finish it when watching the fillers.

Yes!! Watch it!! I don’t know how many enemies I’ll make here but there is a live action movie that isn’t actually too bad as far as anime/rl adaptations go (it is Japanese, not a westernised version like DBZ)

I'm sure it's been said and this is an older video at this point, but there are a couple openings for filler arcs. The "beach" opening is for one of those filler arcs. Any opening you feel that has characters you've never seen or has a totally different feel is probably for a filler arc which Bleach had a ton of unfortunately since it was a weekly anime and had to take breaks from the canon material to let the manga get ahead. Some of these filler arcs were 40+ episodes in length as well, so if you ever do watch Bleach I would personally look up a filler list and skip those arcs and come back to them after finishing the series if you want more.

The early Bleach is definitely awesome, it rocketed to a pillar for a reason. For another, from the same time, super stylish show, I can't really recommend D.Gray-man enough. A lot of people feel Bleach peaked in the Soul-Society arc, but there are still some great moments all the way through. One thing I will say is though, it came out in the era where, beyond biases, dubs really were quite often dubious and while I can't speak for the quality of the rest, the final battle of the SS arc has an infamous dubbing moment.

IF you choose to watch filler... bounto and regai fall chronologically well and are even brought up later. The bounto arc is good, but long winded tho. Igfnore all other filler until you have finished the series, then feel free to go back.

Bleach doesn't have bad or even meh openings. They're either really good or exceptionally good.

Skip the fillers arcs and this is one of the best anime you'll ever watch, i promise you. Its easy to look up on wikipedia the list of bleach episodes and its so worth it :D Also this shows has insane anime openings!!

I'd wait until Bleach returns before watching the current "final arc". As the show stopped at a pretty odd point in the manga. Basically the anime stopped in a transitional arc (Lost Agent Arc), and will be much more appreciated if you can follow it up with what comes after.

At 20:32, I haven't seen a single reactor ever catch that single frame right at the end of the song. I'm still looking for a 1st time reactor to finally notice it.

Bleach is incredibly good and has some of the best writting in manga, though it’s stuff you have to look into so it gets a bad rep. The anime has a lot of filler and censorship as well though still enjoyable. The manga is 10/10 though, while it’s not perfect there’s very little bad about it, even the worse parts are “okay”

Bleach is an amazing so, imo. I love it so much, though it isn't perfect, nothing is. But, its one of my top anime of all time. All of the music in the show is so good too.

i know how people are telling you to skip the filler arcs, but i recommend you to still watch the bount arc (episodes 64-91) because it gets intertwined with the story later and you might get confused if you skip it and you should also watch the ashido arc (147-149) because it was supposed to appear in manga but was cut due to time constraints

I recommend Bleach, it's really good. Upsides: Overall good character development, nicely choreographed fights with meaning behind them, nice style, overall has a lot of hype building up during the story (I'm probably missing a few but yeah). The worldbuilding is really good too, and you're constantly getting a feeling that there is more to whatever is being said, but without it getting confusing at all (stories like D.Gray-Man are awesome, for instance, but rather confusing - Bleach isn't like that. Downsides: I mean, definitely the character names. Mostly Japanese or having hard spellings and hard to remember for many people. Also, characters are really well developed, but it's not being fed to the viewer, so if you don't pick up on stuff they can seem superficial, even thought they are far from it (some people catch on to character motivations just fine, others don't, not sure why) Advice about fillers: Some of the fillers are good, but skipping them, at least until you've seen the whole thing, is a good idea - out of the four of them, the first one isn't very good and some have very bad timing (interrupting the main story). But at least two of the filler arcs are worth watching, even if you just want to do it for fun and not on-screen.

It is an amazing show to watch, reacting or not. If you dont react still watch it. It is amazing. I do suggest looking up the filer arcs, skipping them, and then watching them after the main story so it doesnt mess with the pacing
