I'm almost a Puerto Rican I grew up with many of them around my neighborhood and GOD BLESS THOSE PEOPLE. Ive been to that island many times in my college years and again, GOD BLESS THAT ISLAND. For those of you who don't know, you gotta know and go visit that island.
Rez yes the power of rotary engines.. that’s why it kills me as a PR seen guys rip out rotary engines and put v8 or Honda engines in rx7 Mazda’s... so upsetting.... rotary engines are doing 6 second passes now in days with Datsun 510’s ,Toyota starlets, RX3’s and some early 80’s Toyota Corollas
@@Fa5ian_si I agree 100%. It also hurts me to see a beautiful RX-7 with an LS swap in it. I've also seen Toyota Supra's with LS swaps in them which is also pretty nauseating
I know that but as you see the video has a pueryo rican flag, these cars are mainly from puerto rico toyotas corollas,1.8,twin cam.yes i agree other cultures like car racing.dont get me wrong.
My friend Terry horde used to be the national champion in Mazda back in the 80s. His dragster was called the samurai warrior. He was from Portland Oregon USA . First car was a R100. Second car was a RX3. Cheers...
I saw him at seattle that rx3 was quick! He raced a guy i.knew from spoksne in a big block camaro! Beat him by a fender! We went over to check out his car! Showed us all of his car really a nuce guy! Is he still racing?
@@daleroberts8772 NO, he gave that up after he won the Nationals. He was very disappointed Mazada did not give him a sponsorship after his win. He got into Flying after that. Small commercial business.
Man I swear Puerto Ricans have a secret to building these little racing cars. When you see a Puerto Rican show up with N e86 or and rx7, whatcg out, they are there to win it all.
@@thelastgear8972 Yea ...video showed rear angle , so hard to judge ET . didnt look that fast in first 100 mtrs . Probably quick in 200 to 400 mtr. Smooth launch , no bucking or twisting. Good effort out of Puerto Rico .
Ian Worcester Puerto Rico has the fastest imports in the world and meh it only looks slow cuz of the track probably because Cristan never runs like that so something had to be up with the track
@@alexanderperez2439 dont clain you run 6 sec and cant back it up... Any dude can have a fast car that sounds good but it takes a driver to make a pass and tune the car... Dont come talk shit.
The car has done quick passes 6.8s 6.7s, I think look up Christian is back, these were only test passes since they need to know how the environment treats the car so they can fine tune and get it locked in
How can you when the greedy American Government is robbing them blind. Dumb ass its people like you that makes this world so fucked up. Everyone didn't rob, still and kill to obtain wealth like good USA.
Did you know if you Google,Bing, Wikipedia or use Any search engine it won't show you the True IRS location? It's in Puerto Rico and U.S. Citizen's Birth Certificates are issued out of their put in a Trust. Also, over 30,000+ Puerto Rican males were Allegedly sent to Hawaii for agricultural purposes and the U.S. government sterilized the Women unbeknownst to them and used them as guinea pigs with untested birth control pills as well? To top it off, any merchandise coming to Puerto Rico has to dock 1st in Florida, charged a tax to then be allowed to dock it's goods in Puerto Rico and retaxed!? More, most companies for the past 50yrs No Taxes!
@Johnny Rutz its actually the government of puerto rico that is robbing the country blind. ( i know this for a fact) Thats why it took so long to get power restored, the government there had been stealing all the money sent by usa. Blame whoever you want, but this is the actual truth.
I wish someone would take my 2006 chevy cobalt ss and make it a 10 second car. I would love it. My dad has a 74 nove its 11 seconds. He wont let me drive it though.
You going to need alot, and alot of money. Some things you going to need is a sleeved block, pistons, rods, built head like port job and big cams and obviously valve springs and retainers.. Either go turbo if is supercharged orbif is supercharged then get a better supercharger.. Get an upgraded fuel delivery system like fuel pump, fuel filter, lines and injectors. Go E-85 fuel if you can.. And another critical part, a decent ECU for proper tuning. Like a Haltech or Fuel tech or low budget a mega squirt or a SCT but im not too sure on Cobalts.. Oh and a good ass clutch name branded stage 4 or 5 or a twin disc if you can afford it. A good full coilover suspension and some slick tires for track use
You think I would dump $ into a rice burner? Don't be an idiot. And I've had my share of race cars..BBC Malibu. I tell you what since u know so much & think it makes 1200hp... Ask that guy if he's willing to race a BBC Malibu ,AFR heads,fogger..straight up..cause we won't spot not a damn thing. All he has to do is add 2500lbs to his junkbox...since it makes so much power.
If New Zealand had done it better before why don’t they have records that they can hold or take cause last I knew Puerto Rico had the fastest rotary records and still continues to hold them or make them harder to beat
