I'm teaching music virtually to high schoolers. At the beginning of each class I play a "fun" song while I'm taking attendance. I came across your "Christmas Can-Can," and showed it to all my classes. Now I'm falling down a hole listening to all your stuff and I've become a huge fan!!

I am sorry, I replay this so constantly because I really need laughter right now. The very best is the little mermaid...the line that says "but Ursula made a deal for her voice....that would cause any man to rejoice!!!" rocks my world. Disney movies set the bar, With stories that are bizarre, Expensive toys that kids desire will bankrupt you… I have catfished a girl, By lying, scheming, pretending, But don’t tell princess that I’m a street rat, That truth we can hide, I just met a great guy, But will my father approve of him? He’s arranged my marriage to Jafar, Which makes me want to cry, It’s an unfair world, (I wish the carpet had a ring?) Just take me very far away from Aragbar Even though I barely know you, It’s just me and you, it’s just me and you) And my tiger too, but he’ll eat Abu, (???) Then he’ll eat my face, in Aladin part two. Out in France, lived a prince, who was super arrogant, An enchantress put a spell on him, his face would make you wince, Found a girl, name was Belle, Only chance to break the spell, Locked in his castle forever, Stockholm syndrome now or never, Talking clocks, talking candles, (???) Too much to handle, And the service here is getting quite insane, They’ll fill you up with free pie, but then charge for WIFI, Belle’s depressed, and in a stress As his guest, forever his guest. Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? That last line: "This story has a happy ending, because it's Disney; and not real life!" Why this makes so much sense in the Lion King is that the Lion King is based on Hamlet, a Shakespearean tragedy 😳 Read Hamlet, no one survives Hamlet getting his revenge. Of course that's not Hamlet's fault, his uncle was the one who poisoned the sword tip and Hamlet's wine. As soon as Disney started telling feel good stories of propaganda, marriages began to fail, divorce numbers rose and children think that everything will turn out okay no matter what happens, until it doesn't. Life rarely has happy endings, even the death of slavery in The United States took 628k men's lives, not including civilians and one of the greatest President's or even leaders of all time.
