What’s the movie about?
During the 1980’s in Los Angeles, a rap group called NWA (Niggas With Attitude) emerges from the streets of Compton. Its members, Dr Dre, Eazy-A and Ice Cube, will revolutionize hip hop culture with their music and tales of their life in the hood.

How is pac recording Hail Mary but he still cool with Dre. Hail Mary was published 1996. It was part of the 7 day theory Album which was also featuring to live and die in L.A. At the end of the song he says California love without punk ass Dre. But here they just together in the studio and talking bout California love which btw was published in 1995. I'm a the biggest fan of Dre for his body of work and his talent and his discovery of talent but this scene is like the perfect example of a self-serving rewriting of history along with delusions of grandeur when it came to bravery and righteousness. To me the biggest thing that stood out was the way he made it look like he would be more into seeing what's going on when the gun shot goes off then Tupac would have been. Come on Dre. It's one thing to make yourself look down and like some kind of righteous boss but it's a whole other thing to make yourself look more so like that than Tupac.

Well it is a movie and not a documentary. And most of the movies which are "based on a true story" are full of lies. For example Mötley Crue movie The Dirt and Mayhem movie Lords of Chaos.. And all of them are entertaining but if you wanna know the true story, these movies ain't for that. And the actual true story will be always hidden because everybody who was there has their own opinion of things, saw different things from different angles and stuff. And somebody lies anyways for their own sake :D

Probably embellished like the whole movie but the chase scene did hold a few grains of truth. Dre did in fact lead cops on a high speed chase across Beverly Hills in 1994 in that exact model of Ferrari, a 1987 Testarossa (same color too) and got caught. He got clapped for drunk driving and evading pursuit essentially and failed a parole due to having another case on him in 1991 thus for the high speed chase, he was thrown into the slammer for 8 months.
