Straight piping and killing chrome literally my two favorite things to do to a vehicle! We also do some other mods to the Hummer as well and get it looking right about how I want it.... For now.

When I was catching up on the Burlacher’s videos I watched the one where he sold you the H2 and decided to follow the link he gave. This was the first video I watched and you absolutely killed it. The chrome kill was such a great idea and turned out so good looking I did it to my own car and now it looks 100% better thanks to you. Keep up the good work, one day your channel will be huge!!!

I don’t like yellow H2 Hummer's aka yellow Car's in general that much but now without the chrome as well as straight piped, it looks so much better!!!

4lo lock is not locking the rear diff. That means the center is locked for 50/50 power split between front and rear wheels. It is just your normal 4lo. The giant circle button above the 4hi is the rear locker. It only works in 4lo and up to 20mph btw.

@@HUMMUHSMIFF They actually have some pretty cool tech in them. My family has had 3. Some things you should also know... The front diff is a torsen diff so it automatically locks up when needed There is a tc2 button next to the stereo that allows the wheels to slip more for surfaces such as sand and mud. The Stabilitrack/tcs is specially designed to work with the front torsen differential to lock up and work almost as good as a front locker. Believe it or not, when these things came out, they had better approach/departure/breakover angles as well as better ground clearance than the wranglers at the time. Not to mention the lockers were factory unlike many vehicles. The airbox is really high up and the doors are double sealed so you can safely barrel through like 3 ft of water. Assuming the seals aren't worn out. Your tow rating is 6400lbs but drops ur 0-60 time to an astonishing never. You will win almost any tug of war. The heated seats in that truck kick ass. In the later 08/09s The power train was greatly improved dropping the 0-60 more than a second and increasing the tow rating to 8200 pounds max. They also took out all of the fisher price plastic in the interior for some pleather and nicer plastics. I am a Hummer enthusiast if you cant tell :D lmk if you have any questions. Really enjoying the videos so far.

@@HUMMUHSMIFF Go for it! Will let you know that the official water fording depth is 20 inches in the manual but I have seen these go all the way up to the intake (which is next to the passenger side plastic vent) without any water in the cabin.

Had my H2 for 13 yrs and have about 237k on my 05 6.0 and she runs like a new one still and uses no oil between changes👍❤️I just put a new set of wheels and tires again on it a day ago.That makes 5 sets of 35/12.50/22’s it has been thru💪

For faded plastics, I'm always using a ceramic coat, some cheap stuff will be enough, it works perfectly and will last for 3-4 years. Heat gun is good for 3-4 month max, anyway, Beautiful H2!

nice. matte with yellow looks great. all chrome needs to be covered with matte for hummer!

hummer needs to be yellow or matte black but definitely without chrome. hate chrome in hummers. i guess this channel will be one of my favourite. going to buy h2 this February from hunters after hunting season ends up. hello for Kyiv, Ukraine

use 303 aerospace protectant on the plastics, it UV protects them and it gives them a nice matte new look

Hey man I got the same hummer as you got thank good thinking about running the straight Pipes.. Can you shoot another video of the sound or just let me know when the comments just tell loud it.... Pull a car trailer a lot Enclosed.. I didn't know if it'd be annoying on long trips or.... Or is it just downright Is groovy sounded..... By the way I got the same Cadillac too It's a bad boy.... The black wrap around back window is a killer idea. Can I get some info on that? Where did you get the wrap? Was it a easy DIY job ? And how about the cost. I'm definitely gonna have to do it. Great idea

Just got regular wrap from avery denis brand. Satin black and it takes a sec to figure it out but it ain't bad as far as doing it your self. Most wrap companies I would guess charge like 100-300 bucks 🤔
