The Dovo Bergischer löwe is one of the best razors in my collection. But any razor if it is not well prepared to go to the face will not give us a sweet shave. Anyone who deals with falsetto knows that all razors that come out of the factory need an "extra care" I would say. Regarding my latest acquisition Thiers Issard I have presented two videos where the difference in shaving quality is evident. Therefore, for someone who is starting now, I would suggest for a start the good and cheap Gold Dollar 66 and a study on the preparation (sharpening, strop).
Το Dovo Bergischer löwe είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα ξυράφια της συλλογής μου. Όμως οποιοδήποτε ξυράφι αν δεν είναι καλά προετοιμασμένο για να πάει στο πρόσωπο δεν θα μας δώσει γλυκό ξύρισμα. Όποιος ασχολείται με τις φαλτσέτες γνωρίζει ότι όλα τα ξυράφια που βγαίνουν από το εργοστάσιο , χρειάζονται μία "επιπλέον φροντίδα" θα έλεγα . Σχετικά με το τελευταίο μου απόκτημα το Thiers Issard έχω παρουσιάσει δύο βίντεο όπου η διαφορά στην ποιότητα του ξυρίσματος είναι εμφανής. Επομένως για κάποιον που ξεκινάει τώρα θα του πρότεινα για αρχή το καλό και φθηνό Gold Dollar 66 και μελέτη πάνω στην προετοιμασία (ακόνισμα , στροπάρισμα).
Μόλις τελειώσετε με σαπούνι κρέμα το αφήνετε ανάποδα να στεγνώσει ή το κλείνετε απευθείας ? Ρωτάω γιατί από όσο ξέρω δεν κάνει καλό να το κλείνουμε ένω έχει υγρασία μέσα
Τα σκληρά τα σαπούνια (Michells , DRHarris ,Trueffit Hill , Martin De Candre , SV , Tabac κλπ ) τα αφήνουμε ξεσκέπαστα μέχρι να στεγνώσουν σχετικά και μετά τα κλείνω. Τα μαλακά σαπούνια (Phoenix , Stirling , Razorock κλπ) δεν χρειάζεται να τα στεγνώσω γιατί δεν ρίχνω νερό μέσα όπως στα σκληρά σαπούνια. Όσον αφορά τις κρέμες εννοείται ότι τις σκεπάζω αμέσως.
