I'm an independent. I don't have a dog in the "right vs left" fight. I've literally always voted a split ticket bc I try to vote for the best person unrelated to the party. I read the voter's pamphlet. I scan social media accounts (always with a grain of salt). I try to listen to a candidates ideas and visions - while ignoring the mudslinging that almost every candidate does at every level. Kudos to Marie Gluesenkamp Perez for keeping her cool here.
