Mid December and conditions were mint. This was a fun climb that cut straight to the top of the mountain. Doesn’t look like this section has had a lot of traffic on it.
I've mountain biked and ran all over Vedder for a decade but haven't got a dirt bike yet. Rad to see this perspective, and the raw music-free video was great 🤘
That's a fun looking trail. Quick question on the TE300, how much power does it make and what is the powerband like. Is it peaky or flat? I have a Beta Xtrainer and want something with similar torque but a lot more power especially on the top end. My Xtrainer is pretty flat up top. I heard from a few people, older TE300's didn't feel much more powerful than the Xtrainer. I'm not sure if this is true but don't see how if it has over 50hp.
I've never rode a Xtrainer so it's hard for me to compare, but looking at the dyno it has 31.7 HP up top. The TE300 I would expect to have at least 40+ HP so you should notice a more peaky top end power. My 24 TBI is still very smooth and linear which makes it easy to ride.
@@stanbarry Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a natural prgression for me. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I go bike shopping for the next one.
I remember my first time at vedder I got shit kicked. I was new to riding at the time and it ate me for dinner. I did follow a local vet of the mountain however that likes to take newbies on all the hardest knar the mountain has to offer. So he could have his shits and giggles.
Oh man! The same thing happened to me in my local club…the goal almost seems like it’s to break off the newbies, I don’t really get it. Luckily I pushed through and love riding, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had a couple miserable experiences
Man.... I'm in flat ass Texas. I drive 3 hours to get to some pine trees that are hills compared to that. I was thinking this must be Canada.. awesome trail. GoPro flattens everything. This is STEEP. Killer ride!!!!
