The tool is braced against the hub, so it levers the force applied to the inner rim edge back onto the hub? If so, isn't it liable to distort the hub and basically bend the rim on a different axis now?
I had an alloy wheels straightened out like this, but I still get an annoying vibration at around 80km/h despite having the tyres balanced twice. Think it's best to just replace it.
if you gas it too much on that first push, you could end up fighting an oval wheel as consequence for quite some time, when it was just a small bend in one area. Patience!
I had a wheel straightened like this , it was fine but u could feel I vibration at 200mph ... “and that members of the jury is where my problems unfolded” 😂😂
It's still not perfect... when you spun it after the repair it's still slightly bent...that's a Mickey mouse job ..... perfect repair or replace wheel and return the tool is my point of view
