@@missbreezy3469 Not at all sis. I only spoke about my hair. I’ve been natural 3 years. I have never flat ironed it because I like curly hair. What’s funny is I would always adore other people’s curly hair not knowing underneath the relaxer I had for 30+ years (since I was a kid) that there were curls in there. Everything I said about relaxed hair above I used the words (my and I). All about me. I don’t bash anyone with relaxed hair. It is just as beautiful as natural hair when both are taken care of. I’m sorry you felt that way.

Same with me. Had relaxed hair for 20 years which I still love but it wouldn’t grow past my shoulders and was super thin. I was scared of my own natural hair and not sure why. Went for it and have been natural for 2 years and it’s so much thicker and after I cut 7”, 11 more grew back. I love both relaxed and natural, it’s amazing what our hair can do!!! Love that her husband loves her inside and out. So beautiful!

Where are they located?

It’s the same as if you’re married to a person of your race. Forget what the world thinks. It is the same when it comes to your mate. You love them and you actually do not see the race. My husband is Swiss/German, white blond hair, blue eyes and I think perhaps twice I have looked at him and said to myself, “He is white”. It’s usually when he wears a certain blue. It hypes up his blue eyes to like electric blue. Otherwise, everything’s the same. Btw, my first marriage was to a Black man. Sadly he died. So I have experienced both.

Everyone has preferences but we can also be with who makes us feel comfortable and who we love.

I am open to date anyone of any race as long as they treat me good, are motivated, and all around a good person. And of course you have to be attracted to someone. Sometimes black people aren't normally physically attracted to white people and sometimes white people aren't physically attracted to black people. And that's not something you can really control, we all have our own physical characteristics that are attractive to us and that's ok. What I don't agree with and this is just my opinion, but I don't agree with anyone of any race not being open to dating someone solely because they are a different race. For example, as a white woman, it wouldn't be fair for me to say I'd NEVER date a black man or a Mexican man etc etc etc. We should choose partners by their character, morals, etc and of course you have to be physically attracted to someone, I don't care what anyone says, you have to be physically attracted to someone. There have been times I've dated men who I wasn't initially physically attracted to, but then I got to know them and became physically attracted to them. Anyway, long story long.....point being we should be open to date anyone that we are attractive to no matter their race. But again, just my opinion.

I felt the same way when I first got married, but I think it’s best to wait and be a couple for a few years . Once u start having children u never can go back. Travel, enjoy the quiet time with one another. We are happy with our 5 , they are older now, but I even advice my daughters ( 29, 27,25,16,16) to wait at least 2 years after getting married.

I flat ironed my hair once last year and completely damaged my entire hair 🤦🏾‍♀️. I’m currently in the process of recovering my curls with going to a professional. First session went really well! Still have a ways to go but I’m hopeful! Her hair is so gorgeous straightened or curly!

Ivy Strong Thank you. We got strong hair it’ll grow back. I was debating doing my first big chop but the hairstylist said it wasn’t necessary. I’ve always had fine strands even as a curly head girl. Even when I straightened my hair by a professional years ago my hair was always thin. It never looked as thick as hers. I wonder if that’s something I can change & fight genetics. I’ll ask my hairstylist
