Whewwwwww! Y’all are fighting for your lives in the comments. Let me say this. 2016 was my introduction to kpop. Enter blackpink. I thought they were amazing. From their songs. To the visuals. It was on point. After that, I discovered BTS, same thing. Then enter stray kids. I loved stray kids for the simple fact of not only their music, but the rappers stood out to me even more. I understand that BTS has rappers and they are outstanding in my mind. However Jennie from blackpink was in an interview not too long ago, maybe a few years back & said that she did not want to be a rapper only because YG made her because she was the best at trapping during her audition. Out of all three groups, the one group that stands out in my mind and that I have been following since last year since I discovered them has been XG. This group is going to be worldwide. Why? All of their songs that they sing/rap are in English. Look at the marketing and see how they’ve done it behind the scenes debuting in Korea and being recognized worldwide, all of the members individually are incredibly talented, and you cannot take that away. You cannot even deny that right now they are the best girl group out. And when these girls are often being compared to artists like Destiny’s Child, TLC, SWV, 3LW, and many more. (I have yet to hear a K-pop group that has been compared to either groups that I’ve listed or anyone else in that genre.) HELL! The rapping went as far as making xyphers and tapes for us! The vocal line is by far the best I have ever heard from the Asian market! XG, they really are about the hip-hop and R&B life. That is one thing that I can say that is true. If you want to know more, I suggest that you watch behind the scenes and how they came up. The man behind the group is a GENIUS!!! and one of the smartest men I’ve ever witnessed in this business, he himself grew up on hip-hop and R&B. I understand that the Korean culture is completely different than the Japanese culture. Being in Japan three times out of my entire life I can actually say that the Japan culture really does and hip-hop and R&B. I have to be honest …I’ve been a fan of #XG when I believed they were an ELITE Dance Crew. Later I seen Teasers for “TIPPY TOES”. After, I watched their debut…people were accusing them of saying they were under YG. The HATERZ just came out of the woodwork. Then I responded to so many Xenophobic comments…I couldn’t believe the TOXICITY, ACCUSATIONS and NASTINESS. I later found out they were Kpop Stan’s. #XG has treated everyone graciously and respectfully. Please support them for being creatively unique. Daily, I’m happy to see #Alphaz growing organically. I’d like to see new people listen to their Artistic and Versatile music. #XG has OG Hip Hop style and sound because they value the music 🎶 and culture. Please take the time to watch the Documentary Series “Xtra Xtra” as it will definitely solidified who they are and what they’re about. 🙆🏻♀️🎶💫🤍🐺

7. 100% agree. I might make this a point in a video or a whole video of its own. In my opinion when it comes to sexualisation by fans, Niki had one of if not the worst fan sexualisations of a minor idol. These women would legit say “I don’t care if he’s 15” which is just horrid. There was also this one TikTok talking about ateez’s crotches during Coachella and everyone else was supporting it and talking about it in the comments. That is just absolutely disgusting. As a person who’s from New York and is very big on rap music, I’m kinda excited for BadVillian, however, it is off putting when they sing lyrics like “Spinning the block” or when Young Posse did gun shot sounds in their song Posse Up which is such a clear copy of the New York drill mixed with jersey club trend among New York rappers. 3. Agree.. Fans need to know this about songwriting credits : there's hierarchy in songwriting credits, the first being the one who contributed most and the last being the least. So for a song with 8 songwriters, if your idol's name come in at the end, they were barely in the room. Stop overpraising like "his song, written by him" coz its not. This goes for BTS too. Armys just glorify BTS to be "self produced" when in reality (other than rapline) they barely contribute anything. This happened with V from BTS. I see Stray Kids, GIDLE, SEVENTEEN having more control in their work, including songwriting credits than BTS.

I don't agree with your statement about BTS not having as much hand on their songs as SVT, SKZ etc. You just showed me that you know little about BTS cus if you actually know them, you would know how involved they are in their music. Just some examples, RM wrote most of spring day lyrics, he's also the one who came up with the melodies, Jhope is the produced dis-ease for himself but ended up doing it with the other members, Suga produced Daechwita with his friend, even V composed the song zero o'clock for himself but ended up doing as BTS. They even go on live, mostly RM, to talk about how they made their songs/album.

For high notes, I agree, my favourite vocalists are Lia, Haewon and Miyeon. What I love about Haewon is her strong voice rather than her falsetto and what I love about Lia’s voice is when it’s smooth like her cover of “Can’t take my eyes off of you”. Of course I love vocalists like Winter who can break glass with her drama high note but sometimes I prefer the lower voices 🫶🏼

They’re just excluding Asian artists because with Afro beats artists they’re included more and are given serious Grammy nominations and Grammy awards, they’re taken more seriously with collaboration too. I think the issue with asian artist Being taken seriously is that they’re not really “artists” most don’t write, and no creative freedom. Let's be real, Badvillian is an clone of XG. Before XG debuted, they released dance videos showing off their dance skills, Badvillian copy that. it's the way I didn't see a single MY celebrating over "breaking nj's records", instead I've seen MYs and Bunnies getting along very well nowadays. the celebration I saw from MYs was the fact that 'Supernova' was stable on kcharts despite newjeans releasing a new song because newjeans are literally known for being digimons, and bunnies took it has a compliment because they know. Also, 'Supernova' didn't break any particular previous record of NewJeans, it did break records held by other groups tho, so what are you talking about?

Aespa fans began hating on Ateez recently, I saw a tweet that said ‘evil has been defeated’ cause aespa replaced Ateez at number 1. LIKE WHAT. The fact that atinys also helped mys to stream aespa comeback too. They are probably one of the most toxic 4th gen fandoms imo.

When it comes to number 6 I agree with everything you said It’s so frustrating too when you live in a household with parents who are generally more negative towards Asians in general and say that “they are all the same people” like no tf they aren’t, and my parents are also the type of people who keep saying “oh you like those Chinese people?” I have to correct them everytime and tell them that they are Korean and they get pissed at me for it, i wish things weren’t this way.

You let XG off the hook. I agree with Bad Villain but they’re brand new and XG has been drowning in African American culture. I like them a lot. As artists they are the bomb but if you’re looking at groups trying to look hood then they’re leaps ahead of BV.

2. On Badvillain, I’m willing to give them some time mostly bc 1) we finally got a group that isn’t afraid to let the majority of its members out of middle school and 2) I actually really like their debut song. Hopefully we don’t get into XG levels of blackaboo and tone it down for the comeback.
