I mean I main behemoth and it’s pretty good. It just requires a bit more thought than other subclasses. I use it more than any other class cause the tackiness and healing with being more aggressive than solar Titan is fun for me and works in gm and master raids. In addition to the most consistent font of might, it makes it one of the best utility classes
Titan's really do more than punching. Nothing to cater to a full Warrior Titan and nothing to define the Titan subclasses as being *Titan* and not getting the short end of the stick.
@@ironladyerimuth Feelsbad BUT I will say even though Warlock has had some of it's identity given to the other class, the tradeoff is warlock got a bunch of other cool identity in its place. It's not a complete loss atleast
As an Arcstrider main myself, I'm extremely excited for the Threadrunner. However, I've always wanted Titans to have a Sword Super. I imagine something like a Zweihander.
As a warlock main brood weaver is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Really making your minions do your bidding and you please and just demolishing the battlefield.
Yeah serious missed opportunity Where warlock simply manipulates the flow And Hunter just jumps around and does Spider-Man shit Imagine if Titan could collapse time and be absolutely rough with it
Way before even The Witch Queen even released, I've always imagined a green-based darkness subclass for Titan being some sort of Mortar actually. Like your character turns into a turret with a small barricade that launches say like 5 high splash damage rounds that leaves a pool of weapon of sorrow aka Thorn smoke afterwards in a location of your determination that would be great for boss DPS or ranged encounters because outside T-crash Titans have absolutely NOTHING thats good for range or DPS. I also feel like my idea plays perfectly into the Titans being tanky defenders theme. You would think a $3.6 billion company with people way smarter than I am could come up with this but no we got Punch (Green)
as a warlock main, i feel bad for you titans don't get me wrong, i do think the strand titan will be very effective and the super will be good... but it's just too similar to other titan subclasses and lacking the inspiration of the strand warlock and hunter.
Okay I think there is a way to fix stasis and strand for titan simply adding a second melee and super would give them more identity. Personally I feel like stasis is meant to be an unmovable titan so the super I thought up was they freeze there legs into the ground becoming immune to stomps and raise there hands creating and giant ice sphere like a dusk field that slowly freezes out into a ice ball depending how long you hold it the more ice and damage it does maybe after the slam you get pushed back as a way of escape I would rather strand be shown as titans not weaving up enemies I feel like they should have there own way of it. So I feel like the wall should be replaced by the titan grabbing and pulling on strand with brute force making it snap back launching the titan and granting them woven armour. As for the super I would keep this idea and turn it up so it would be a single pop and have them dash around the target bouncing off strings cutting and debuffing the target ending in a massive slash down through the enemy but if the target dies before the combo ends the titan has a second or two to launch at a new one definitely only let that happen once tho so it's not op in pvp
Basically, Berserker will focus more on utility rather than sick moves, utilizing all 3 Verbs and Woven Mail's DMG Resistance at the expense of cool animations. A small price to pay for salvation.
When I think berserker I’m not thinking large claws I understand the idea is go nuts and slice and dice with the titan but I think it was a missed opportunity because it would of made more sense for the titans to weave two bearded axes instead of arm claws that being said the way the arm blades are shaped it reminds me of Nordic Seax’s attached to my arms and because I’m a huge fan of Doomslayer it’s basically the titan going cool I have those too but I have 2 and I can basically fly lol
Titan feels uninspired and thrown together. BUT. It looks like it's going to be a full support class. Multiple attacks and AOE that just freezes and banishes enemies. Reading about it makes it sound like the darkness version of the void subclass. It's nice to see another support option, but it makes it really hard to be excited for strand.
Titans have always been a supportive class I mean just look at void with their ward of dawn, or solar with all those healing sunspots. Is it too much to ask to be something more than a wall.
As a warlock main, we lost a lot of our identity, so even with replacements so atleast titan still has that even if it's more boring punching. would be cool to see Titan with a one-off super, tho like a spartan spear or something
@Pocket Tuna that's true. The power fantasy is real with warlock. I'm just a sweaty warcock main, so I was pissed that bungie basically nerf us sense warlock is based off of grenades and that we'll is getting nerfed one of the only reason a single man would consider warlock but strand does look really good and overpowerd witch is nice. On the flip side, Titan is good but no power fantasy, so I get what u mean EDIT: Still, I would love a super that has a spear or making a wall or something cause Titan is also meant to be a defender. The gaurdians that hold the city upon their back the tank the big chonkas in game there just a bunch of idiots that punch stuff and eat crayons I think they should be more than that which is why i love thundercrash so much. if u can't tell, I was a former titan main. I regret being a warlock too far into the class to go back to titan :/
Titan's have an ASPECT that grants Woven mail when destroying a tangle... Then Bungie has this great idea to make a FRAGMENT that grants woven mail when picking up an orb. That aspect better have 4 fragment slots alone because that's straight busch league bungie. Remember how fun the Diamond Lance spamming glitch was? Titans were so happy when that happened. We finally had a ranged attack. Lol
I think they will wait until Lightfall comes out to see if people's opinions on the class change before making a proper statement on anything regarding this. But they are 100% aware of how people feel about Strand Titan at this point. The frustrating thing is they are trying to Simplify the Class Fantasy of Titan too just "Just Punch things" which is not what Titan about. Warlocks are about Magic, minions etc, Hunters are Stealthy Assassins/Ninja, cowboys. For Titan Its about being the front-line guy who gets in enemies faces. That DOES NOT mean everything is punching. Void Titan for example is about getting in the front line and being the Protector, using your Bubbles and Shields, Solar is Throwing Hammers and Creating Fire and Arc is your Go Fast and knock em out class. They all have an Identity that fits the Titan Mould of "Be bold and get in their Face". This is why Strand is so underwhelming. We are not asking for strand to be busted or OP, but asking for Something new for the Titan Mould. Hunters get to be a Rope dart Ninja, Badass. Warlocks Get to Summon Minions, Awesome. This is Why is People arent looking forward to Strand titan, its a fantasy we already have in Arc. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Honestly I'm still excited for berserker as fellow titan main, 3 melee charges and more mobility with it. The grapples is grenade so hey armorntarium. Spiderman and Wolverine as an unstoppable force of strength.
I think I will like titans it because of it helping with add clear but as another fist centered subclass it'd just ehh the flamethrower concept would have been better
I’m a titan main and I’ll be honest the trailer just didn’t seem to do anything new with the titan. I mean I played D1 and in truth I don’t know if the titan abilities have really grown from back then. It just all looks the same. Even with the new strand abilities I can do the same basic things with solar and stasis not to mention striker. Titans have been done dirty yet again.
The "Berserker" subclass isn't flashy or stylish like the other subclasses, but just from reading the notes it sounds like an effective kit. I feel like it has an identity, people just don't like what the identity is (Sounds an awful lot like the solar and arc warlock situation). I'm stoked for it because I like the bombastic in-your-face style that berserker is advertising, maybe it's the other subclass supers that need to be changed...I'm eying you fist of havoc
here's the thing on titan it may be better then we think ik when stasis come out I saw warlock as bad until they decided to pull out the grenade spam I did also feel titan was bad and still do but now that hunter and warlock looks good In hoping titans will be better then how they look
A bungie developer recently had an interview and they re-inforced that the current Titan darkness supers are not just simple replicated supers. The supers just lean very heavy into a unique role of optimising the subclass verbs in a unique way.
To be fair, I am a Warlock main that wasn't always into Titan, but something about the Berserker Titan is calling me. I always sucked with the Titan; will it be different with this version?
I'm expecting this to be like Stasis for us, The first few aspects were dumb, then we got the Lance and extra melee, things got better for us. And we get 3 melee charges! That's gonna be awesome Yeah the Super is lame, but if our Neutral game is good, I'll be happy.
I dont know, titan might be really good for tieing up enimies and buffing its damage reduction. Thats what titan really has become. Its a class that revolves around steam rolling enimies. Sometimes as an unkillable beast, other times as a force of nature. This time however it seems that Berserker is all about tying up enimies with those baricade abilities and creating woven mail to become harder to kill.
I do love that. It’s just the 7th melee focused class that’s all. I don’t hate punching things, but I do want to do other things for the class. The armor for lightfall is loaded with ammo and grenades but the Titan class never does anything with weapons
@@PocketTuna i mean i guess i can understand from that prospective however i cant really think of anything cause they have throwing hammer a massive hammer they can swing a shield and a fist oh yea and ice fist or ice if u will im not sure how they would make the idenity little differnt from titans i mean atleast u get to fly as if you have twillight garason again
