Happy Father's Day, Billy! Acknowledging that you do not have the time to restore the carriage, yet are willing to find someone else who is willing and can restore it, says a lot about your character, Billy. Well done. Looking forward to watching Nick restore it!
Nick Moon will do a great job on your carriage. The Moons are Awesome ! I saw Michael earlier. It was great to see him back!! Happy Father’s Day Billy 😊
I must say Billy , when I was watching yesterday’s video with Nick Moon I thought you have never looked better. You seemed to be getting younger every time I see you. Happy you gifted Nick and Ginny with the Carriage . It’s going to look wonderful again. Michael’s video was wonderful, he’s so gifted and kind.❤❤❤❤
Hello I'm very moved to hear your words about us and the convent that's so dear to our hearts as French heritage enthusiasts. We'd love to come and see you when it's possible for you and when you're ready to welcome us. All the best to you and bravo for your magnificent work of renovation in this magnificent place ✨👻❤️
What a great thing to see the carriage restored. Very generous of you Billy and fabulous for the Moons. I watched Michael today and I enjoyed it, it was great. Thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
@@Steven-f281 I'm pretty sure you are right. When they knock down walls vibrations travel like a mini earth quake through the structure of the building. Like you kan stomp on the ice of a frozen lake in winter and hear the noise of the ice cracking travel across the pond. Doesn't mean anyone is moving across it or stomping on it at the other side. It was you all along. :) In this building vibrations will make things shift and then it falls back into place- and you hear "a ghost" or see a door slowly swing open/close. (I have no such explanation for the sound of footsteps, though. Or for hearing things being dragged across the floor in a room above you, or cabinet doors suddenly being slammed shut. Or in places like in this kind of convent: A sudden, faint sound of singing coming from the chapel only to immediatly disappear, again. Like a fleeting glimps of the past.)
I have to say Billy, I have an immense amount of respect for you for the promotion that you give towards your friend's channels. You are very aware of your large audience and their interests and know that these other people could possibly have exactly what we would be interested in. That's very selfless and beautiful of you to do. I'm looking forward to following Nick and the restoration of the carriage because this is very much a time where people are interested in Jane Austen era items and movies, etc. Well done!
I am SO happy the Moons are taking on the restoration of the carriage. They will do a phenomenal job. I look forward to watching the restoration. Happy Father’s Day Billy!
Billy, old building and houses are always settling and you will heard it, especially if no one is around. Great idea to give nick thr carriage, I am sure they will use it. Happy Father's Day, enjoy your day with family.
Happy Father’s Day Billy and Mick! What a thoughtful gift you have given Nick and Jenny Moon. I look forward to following the carriage being restored to its former glory. Thanks for promoting Michael’s channel and also the Moons charity. 🙏❤️
You know, given the somewhat convoluted building history of the convent, as well as the rather strange construction technologies at the various times, it is no wonder that the remaining structure would have creaks and groans on occasion. The intrusion of animals into a less than secure building could also render peculiar sounds.
Lovely idea to have nick restore the carage. Love it. Love your brothers channel his drawings and everything he's up to. But i also love the progress your making with the convent. Love the way you guys ( petericks. Moons, Ryan and phillip ) help each other out. Lots over love going around.❤❤
Happy Fathers Day to you and your father. You need to publish a book with reno work, all workers and finds the convent has given to you. Blessings forward.
Yes Michael started all this. Billy thank you for continuing, love watching Sadie too with her horses. Mr Moon covers the part where you gave him the carriage - footage is clear enough to see how big and beautiful it still is. I follow them thanks to you guys too. They are amazing.
It's funny hearing you promote Doing It By Ourselves when most of us are here because Michael sent us to ypu. Thank you so much for encouraging your big brother to come back to us. We love all of you.
@@joanmacdowell4457 lol...still easy to fake. A little too convenient that Billy just said he was there alone and then "thump"...and then making a big show of doing a walk through to make sure no one was there while shadowy figures are in the background. 😁 It's great fun!
I’m so glad you mentioned the Moons. Their channel is wonderful! Doe is Michael’s channel! Doing it ourselves is inspiring and I have learned so much from Michael, he knows so much! The Convent holds my interest so much because all my schooling was at a Convent with Nuns, and part of the time I was boarding . It reminds me so much of my school days. All Convents are basically the same I think. I love what you are doing with this one. Your ideas are brilliant! It will be spectacular when it is done.
Happy Father’s Day Billy. Just lost my husband June 4 so Father’s Day was hard this year. I love all the utube channels you recommended. To watch every one is the best things I watch.
Perhaps it was just a coat hanging behind the frosted glass door at 0:55 but geepers - after the vlog title, it gave me shivers !!!! Great idea to pass the carriage onto the Moons to restore - Nick has done an amazing job of the organ (I was waiting for it to play by itself) :) Happy Father's day to all the dads !!
Thankyou for giving the Moons a shout out, and Micheal too its so long since he put a video out people need reminding, and happy father's day Billy, you are a very special person and have a lovely family too 😊😊
I'm looking forward to the day that you refer to "the convent" as something else, something all your own. Because it is all your own, it hasn't been a convent in a very long time and you are, little by little, making it something wonderful and new. And you'll give it a name all its own ❤
What a lovely thing to do Billy, giving the beautiful carriage to Nick and family. I can't wait to see what he can do with it! I have to say, it would look nice to see it rolling around your Chateau at some point, maybe he'll surprise you with a visit when it's finished! I love the Moons and I watch all their videos...lovely!
That carriage is spookier than the convent if you ask me. And I'm sure any spirits still hanging around are just nice old ladies who would be happy that you're fixing up their home and bringing life back to the place.
When I was young I was a carpenter’s helper I was left to work in a haunted Victorian house . I bought my mother to keep me company because she would face down the devil himself to protect me .
Hey Billy! I noticed at around the 0:53 mark, just as you finished speaking and you got up, there's a shadow in the window / door behind you. The shadow is stationary, so, it could be anything that's just standing / propped up there, but, it looks creepy!
It looks like a Nun...her dark veil. Well, a previous video had her standing by the window looking out. The camera had a view of her through the rungs of the stair rails. I don't think this is anything to fear. I sincerely believe that whatever/whoever approves of Billy and Co. and is simply overseeing the project. The place is being revived respectfully.❤
I have been following the moons since the organ restoration and look forward to seeing the carriage restoration. Nick and his family are beautiful souls
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY BILLY - you are exceptional - on many levels. Most of all I admire and respect you for your integrity , loyalty and compassion to give to your family and all those involved with your projects whom I have seen over the years become fast friends and a close-knit community 🥰 Blessings always to all The Pethericks 😇😇😇
Welcome the spirits with grace and let them know you’re there because of your love for the convent and the knowledge you have of its history. They’re just being very nosy!
The building is noisy because they are knocking out walls and setting off vibrations that travel along beams that meet other beams and corners. Like ripples in water or an earth quake. That sets of sounds. It doesn't mean you have to welcome it with grace as if your'e asking for permission to do something on your property.
Happy Father’s Day Billie! I am subscribed to the Mom’s channel and I can’t wait to watch Nick renovate this carriage. I also watch your brothers channel. So many awesome channels have come from watching “The Pethericks”.
I LOVED this video. This felt like Classic Pethericks… But really infused with the fantastic Cinematography knowledge and skill that Billy has acquired over the last two years. This felt really, really well polished. Awesome job Billy 🙂
There are plenty of videos on RU-vid showing "paranormal investigators" and their complete failures :P Don't waste your time, Billy. It's a big, old building complex that you're rearranging. Differential expansion, wind blowing through tiny gaps, and animals scampering around, all make noises that we can't always recognise.
Humidity and temperature changes will affect that old building. You will hear all sorts of sounds from expansion and contraction from both the walls and the timbers, especially the timbers. It's all part of owning an ancient stone building. If the latches are old and out of alignment, doors may open themselves during a contraction of the surrounding wood structure.
Great video Billy as ever. What a grand idea to pass that beautiful carriage on to the Moons for restoration - maybe when it's done they will have a horse or horses that will like to provide the power to ride in it! Just a side note on the creepy: watching you walk around the upstairs corridors made me realise how very short those doors really are. To me that introduces an uncanny valley vibe. I think people are sensitive to oddness of proportion. I don't have a view on the paranormal but it would be interesting to see what some "ghost hunters" make of it!
Id had thoughts about that carriage and those Legends who adopt the Moons. So glad that carriage is going to such wonderful horses that might find a friend to make proper use of a grand carriage.
Get a medium to come in and find out why these spirits are hanging around. Thanks, Billy, for taking the time to do this. The carriage is perfect for the Moons. happy Father's Day.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads in your immensely creative, hard-working family! You're all an inspiration to many! Don't worry about those noises Billy, it's most likely the angel nuns letting you know that they're present, they approve and they're keeping you safe ♡
Happy Father's Day Billy and hope your sons are spoiling you. I will subscribe to Micheal's Channel and already subscribed to Nick Moon's Channel as well. Glad he is restoring the carriage. :D Catch you later :D
Happy Fathers day to you. I enjoy watching all 3 channels plus a couple of others based in France. I think that you all are doing a wonderful job of it too. You have a great day and enjoy your children as well.
I have noticed one thing: either you are very tall man or the doors of the rooms are very small, is that so? I love your channel and I also follow Nick, Ryan, Michael and Sadie, since they were all mentioned on your channel. You all do amazing and wonderful things. I love it 😍
Happy Father's Day Billy! Rest easy, Billy, it's just the nun's marveling that someone, once again, cares about the convent and they're expressing their joy in the renovations!
Definitely needs a paranormal investigation or a overnight challenge alone. When you posted about it before on instagram I commented about not getting any bad vibes from convent and I would gladly do an over night challenge as would find it fascinating if anything happened. I attended a Covent girls school that was built in the same style setup by French nuns so I do wonder if same architect that design both buildings.
Seriously take a big ass torch! Who wonders around in the dark when there’s ghostly noises. Plus the shadow behind the door in the corridor freaked me out 😂
