20 years ago my family took a trip to Australia. We went here and I was memorized by the coaster track and the lore. It had 0 business being where it was. It made no sense. It had been ongoing or 20 years. It was beautiful.
Thankyou! I've been obsessed with this thing for over 30 years now, I was sure I saw it as a kid. I told my parents, they don't remember, no one remembers, but I recall seeing it when I went on holidays once as a kid with my parents. Now I finally after all these years can connect a distant series of fragmented memories which are more akin to fuzzy fading screenshots in my mind with what it actually was. I given up years ago on looking for what it was, because all I knew were memories in my head, then suddenly this shows up in my feed. Thankyou. I knew I wasn't imagining it!
My dad was a welder by trade and had a stint doing maintenance at that tourist facility. He told me if the Orphan Rocker ever opened then NEVER get on it given the quality of the welding!
