Here is my tribute to the late, great DMX. When I was a young teenager, DMX's deep poetic writing style was a big influence on me as a poet & an up and coming rapper. "Lord Give Me a Sign" has always been one of my favorite songs of his and it's bittersweet making this cover song in honor of such a giant in the industry. Legends never die. May he rest in peace.

It’s ok. This is one of those songs that is hard to cover because the pain and sincerity mixture in Xs delivery is hard to convey. It’s like when people cover a Sam Cooke song - there’s an element that just is missing. But good job overall
