I still believe that there is a bigger and more serious threat than 001. To me the upside down pre existed and eleven may banished him in it but she didn't create this world. I am still curious of the role of the doctor in basically everything. He seems to know so many things about these powers that it makes me think that maybe he posses some powers of his own. Could he be the one that started everything? Also the fact that he took 001 under his wings in the first place makes me wonder what made him realize that this kid has some serious powers. Maybe he realized by his own experience? With that being said, I don't think that he is a villain like 001, whose story by the way reminded me a lot of voldemort in hp, but his knowledge of all these things makes me wonder.
