Noah's acting in that scene as WIll talking to Mike was amazing... it makes me so emotional. The portrayal of a all the anxiety and confusion as a closeted teen especially in an environment where you don't feel safe to be who you are, especially in the 80s... the writers and Noah did a phenomenal job bringing that to life.

Agreed...That was a powerful scene, & the emotions pouring out of young Noah, damn man...That kid can act. He even had me in tears...Normally, I only get emotional when a scene involves a father & daughter. But Noah really killed it...give the kid an award! His haircut is horrific, but most people had terrible hair back in the 80's. I just let mine grow, 'til it was really long, then I just cut it into a mohawk...worked for me. ...We'll just forget all about the 'mullet' era. It was a tough time for guys with long hair, and anyone else involved with bad hair... lol. 🤘🤪

The way I saw Will & El hug brought me to tears because I always wanted a sibling friendship between them since they didn’t have a lot of screen time together but the way they hug was like a sibling hug of Will finally was glad that El wasn’t hurt & hugged El as if he was scared for her since Will & El has been through so much these past seasons

Will has such a pure heart. He could well hate her due to jealousy, but he doesn't. He could try and sabotage her and Mike's relationship on so many occasions, but all he ever does is try and support both of them. He's a selfless soul and Noah does a fantastic job bringing him to life.

SPOILERS for this episode: Even when dying, Papa again tried to manipulate El by releasing her and immediately using that to guilt trip her into forgiving him. She doesn't go for it this time and doesn't give him the peace he desires. Abusive and unaware of it until the end.

These last two episodes…..greatness. The finale, phenomenal. El, finally standing up to Brenner, that he’s the monster, so proud that she stood up for herself and stopped taking his crap. This season has blown me away. Combined, watching these today was an extremely stressful, emotional, 4 hours give or take….but so worth it.

That last shot of the episode really drove home the epicness of these last two episodes. I am also glad with how Eleven left Brenner because even though he cared for the kids in his warped way, he still did terrible things. What he did to her mom was enough.

Maybe this is over sharing but my brain works like Robin’s so bear with me- I deal with frequent panic attacks and because of it, I have a hard time watching high intensity shows like stranger things even though I LOVE the story. I don’t have anyone who’s able to watch with me rn, so I’ve been skimming the episodes by myself and then watching your reactions afterwards because it’s less scary to watch “with” other people and you always highlight the important moments so I don’t miss anything! I know this is long winded, but I just wanted to say thank you for putting these videos out there because I’ve literally been watching each episode with you guys from across the country and it’s been such a positive thing in my life over these past few weeks. The Will & Mike scene really got me, and I feel like it’s kinda a universal feeling for many lgbtq people. having feelings for someone and knowing that it’ll never be reciprocated, and it’s no ones fault. that’s just the way it is and you have to learn to live with it. hurts even more when they’re your friend and you want them to be happy, even if it’s not with you.

Ahhhhh these final 2 episodes were EVERYTHING!!!! Such a great job closing the circle, moving the target to something even far greater than anything before, and placing things were a time jump of a few years to the early 90's would make sense!!!! The Duffers have created such a fantastic adventure using an actual real world (albeit considered conspiracy theory) premise and round out this wonderful fantasy around characters easy to connect with while watching.

Great episode. Eleven is so amazing. I’m glad she was able to see Brenner for who he was and to get closure. Every character’s scene touched me in the episode. I could be here all day if I talked about each one. But you know a show is amazing when you’re invested in every person on the show. I stayed up all night to watch this at release and it’s all I can think about all day. Can’t wait to experience the last ep with the stikker fam tomorrow night!!

Will giving Mike that emotional support while secretly crying because he can't be open himself about his true feelings is my villain origin story. He's always been someone who puts everyone else's needs before himself. But it always makes him unhappy. Will should get to tell Mike. He should get to be happy. I have never felt more conflicted watching a character in this show than with this guy. He did bad. But even despite the bumps along the way, El still cried when she saw him bleeding out. Despite everything, they had a bond. A strange bond, but a bond nonetheless. And he let her go.

Oh my gosh these last two episodes… my god they were…how do I even describe it? I got up at 3am right as they premiered and watched both. Finished at nearly 8am. We had Stranger Things 3D Doritos, Pineapple Jalapeño, Multi-Meat, and Pepperoni Surfer Boy brand pizza, Eggos, and Coca-Cola lol. It was great! This episode was astounding. Just..incredible.

28:38 i don’t know if anyone has said this yet but Sarah Hindsgaul (i think it was her who said it) said they specifically modeled her after Molly Ringwald and I believe they got some input (as the stylists were able to get a lot of cool limited edition pieces for the characters) from Ringwald herself. there was an article about it and I can’t remember what it was. Ally Sheedy was also inspiration for Eden (Suzie’s sister) and Brooke Shields for Nancy.

There was a subtle giveaway about Will in season 2 ( if I recall correctly). He and Mike were arguing about growing up and Mike rebuked him for being so immature that he still wanted to play D n' D, not even being interested in girls. Will gave Mike a look that just could not be mistaken.

Just finished episode 9 and WOW... The Duffer brothers didn't disappoint. I had anxiety all the way through both episodes. I laughed, cried, cheered and so much more. These two episodes were just a masterpiece.

I think how Vecna was made and being the son of Victor was the surprise. Alot of people had a feeling 001 was Vecna, I saw the left hand. Also, I saw the wall in the flashback. But, she did do something to start off something bigger. I love the practical effects, including the makeup. Greg Nicotero anyone???

The power dynamic between vecna and the mind flayer is strange. One way to look at it is that you can argue that the mind flayer is in charge based on how it presents itself as a force of nature kind of like the phoenix force and has existed long before people and vecna is able to be possessed by it but can retain his own mental foothold as he is a gifted telepath. Or when vecna came across what is now Known as the mind flayer he was able to fully over power and harness it and is why in that scene where we first see the dust vecna reaches out his hand and it reshapes itself as a a spider which we know is a manifestation of vecna true nature “apex predator”.

If anyone watching who works or volunteers at one of those haunted house/ horror themed attractions at Halloween could get in touch with Nicky and allow her to be made up in vecnas costume so she can scare people and live out her dream. That would be amazing:)
