Well done rescuing Will! I have one question though: when you recruit an ally you created a new stack and then revealed the top token of the stack but I don’t see anything in the rule book that instructs us to reveal the top token. I was under the assumption you only do that during the setup of the game. Did I get that wrong?

Hey Sergio! I was literally just going from what they told you to do in the setup. I kind of assumed that in Hawkins you have the information however in the upside down it’s secret. Just how I played, I’m not sure on an official ruling.

So im not sure if realized bet when you went to het El's psionic blast the 1st time you didnt apply the waffles otherwise you would have gotten it cause you also had a walkie talkie card while being with another character but all in all good job. I havent been able to save will yet.

I don’t understand Johnathan’s ally bonus. It says “Jonathan counts as having a character in your location” What does that mean???? Does that mean the 3 “cost” is included in your action total????

Hey Austin! Some Action cards have the little walkie talkie symbol on them which means you get an additional point towards your action total when there is an ally in the same space as that character. If you have Jonathan, you’re always considered to be in the same space as another character - meaning the walkie talkie symbols are always available to use for the character that has him

There are also scene cards that cause you to gain fear, lose cards, etc..., if your character is "alone" in a space. Having Jonathan as an ally counts as not being alone.

I am not sure. I think beginning your character's turn with Demogorgon at the same location, you have to fight it? When you defeat it(removing 1 stack), you can move it 1 space away.

I’ll double check, but my understanding is if you start in the same location as a foe, you can move or stay in the same location. If you stay, you have to fight it.
