this song means so much to me as a person. I basically had a spiritual awakening when I heard it. Preachers daughter is the most beautiful, tear jerking album I’ve ever heard. In fact the entire story of ethel Cain is just perfectly portrayed through the entire album. This song is the conclusion of the album, and it’s one of my favorites. It sounds really soothing however the topic of the song is upsetting, the way it was wrote and sung made it so perfect within the album closing. I’d really recommend listening to the other songs in the album, and once you interpret the meanings of them it’ll eventually all make sense. It’s one of the best made albums I’ve heard and I ADORE Ethel cains music.
