I searched my yard and i found a piece of a very strong grey thing so i researched it and its a legendary rare thing called a rock EDIT: thanks for the 5 likes!!!
strangest thing I found in my back yard was a fossil of a fern . we have small river rocks as part of our landscaping and I picked one up that was oddly shaped and looked cracked down the middle. it was like an elongated oval and sort of layered stone that was cracking in the middle, I pulled the pieces apart and on each side of the interior was the outline of a fernleaf, it was a fossilized fern leaf!!! I still have it to this day on display in my bookcase.
I once found a 14” machete knife pushed right down to the handle in my garden. I had to kick the handle to loosen it free and couldn’t believe how big it was as i pulled it out. I passed it onto the police.

This is not exactly strange, but my backyard is a forest, which used to be a Native American reserve. With a few of my friends, we decided to go into the forest for fun when we were young. And we found spear tips and arrowheads, hidden beneath ferns and plants. It was really cool! Even though this wasn’t the first time this was seen in that forest, it was my first time seeing this.
It was not my back yard, but the front. I must have lived in the old wild west. Because I found half of a sheriff's badge. It said sheriff and 18/ something. Pretty cool I thought
My Aunt and Uncle in New Jersey found skeletal remains in their back yard. A Revolutionary War battle was fought nearby, and the remains were of a soldier who was killed in the battle and buried there.
Ive found a Bathtub(iron), old spoons, Horse shoes, a Ipod, metal toy car, Pulleys and Tools. I live in a 17 cent log cabin, have a 17 cent pole barn, and have a 17cent Blacksmiths building on the property too which was torn down :( by the previous owner. It was the local black smith for my area too, Oh at 4am in the morning i found some stranger trying to capture my cat

One day when I was going to high school I discovered a perfectly good copy of appetite for destruction without a case laying in the yard. There was no writing on the actual CD itself as to who it belonged to so I kept it.

MY uncle moved into a house that had a disturbing past,he also found a knife with words carved into it buried underneath a tree that was most likely used for hanging people.Also the previous owners were drug dealers and if you take the pant and extra stuff off the walls there are bullet holes in the wall.If u want to use this u can just say a person
The strangest thing found in my backyard was Ronald McDonald in my dream. It was scary. I was doing something by a window and then he splattered himself on my window then it started cracking and broke then there was a clown in my house. He chases me until I ran out of breathe and he pushed my down on the ground and raised his hands and said "Time to feast."

As for the gun I would have kept it and I woke up on morning to find a small trailer in my yard with no wheels and no tags on it. No one came to clam it and I fixed it up and still use it today.
